I was trying to post fast before I ran to class. So, I did not reread what I was posting. Line 2 and 4 are right. You can be solving for just X. Or with 2 or more Equations solve for X and Y.
In fifth Grade I was learn pre-algebra in public school. Solving for X, and Solving for X and Y with 2 or more equations. I was not in honers classes.This was the basic math work for that grade.
They used scales to teach us. Take Bags of balls mark some as 'X', and some bags as 'Y'. Find out home many balls are in X and in Y. Got the idea?
It is normal to give more funding based on how many non-WASP (white Anglo-Saxon protestant) live in an area. We all want to live in a fair world, but there is a reason aid is giving to woman in Hadi. Your race and sex affects the way you are to some degree. The aid workers have found that women are more likely to share food with their family, and man are more likely to sell the food for beer. So, the aid workers give to woman. Is it sexist? Maybe. Is it unfair? yes. Does it make it a lot harder for a single father to feed his kid(s)? Yes.
They have found that like Sex, Race affects the way you are. *Racism of the past effects that they people act today). You still have power over what you do, but you are more likely to act one way. most of it maybe how a group is raised, but it is still there. Have you ever seen white college fund? Or a school that is publicly all white? (I know some school that say that don't take white people.)
I will say it once more. Is it raceis? Maybe. Is it unfair? yes. If we made the government treat everyone the same would it be fair? NO. The governments job is not to be fair. It is to try to make life better for people without hurting any group. You don't see White college funds or white school (lest not officially) because of the history of racism.
So go mod me down, but this is just the way it is. Till all sides learn to be blind to color, and everyone is raised the same (Women and men caring about family the same) the world can not be fair.
Most of the doctors that turn down Medicare do so because the amount that Medicare lets the doctor be paid is less then the Cost to the Doctor. I have a family member who's doctor who has to use a lot of office meds on them. The cost of the meds are higher then the money Medicare gives him. Plus, Medicare can take a long time to pay. (One time it took over 8 months for the doctor to get paid from Medicare, but the Gap program paid their part in less then a Month)
Where would all the people at the health insurance companies go? would the government hire every one? (+10x redundancy).
No, a lot of the people would go unemployed. When other States went away from privet insurance, they had a lower unemployment. The US does not right now.
The mandatory bit fines are to low. The fines you pay for not having insurance are so low that it is not hard to be making anoth money that the cost of insurance is higher then the fines.
Your insurance cost will now be based on the area you live in. This may push people who have the power to move, to move to more healthy areas. People who can't move will have to pray that the subsidies will pay for the Insurance going up.
Last, the fines are the way that the Subsideis are to be paid for. They are talking about 10 years of fines paying for the 1st 6 years of health care.

The winner for now is still IE. Now, Firefox is getting more blot, and IE getting better. What will Firefox do to fight back? Add even more blot? I have moved to using IE, Firefox, and chrome for now. If firefox keeps down this path, I will stop using it.
Most "paperboys" are not kids. It is a little hard for a kid to walk 10+ miles with over 700 papers. Delivering them in under 6 hours too. Hack, I deliver about 300 in a little area (about 1 km). about 2/3 of the people are ages 20-40. Most of the 1/3 are 60+. In the last year, the price for the paper has gone up 50%, people have to ask for the TV guide thing. But most of the lost in people are older people (the 60+). While I don't read a lot, I have seen stories in the paper that did not show up on TV, or the internet till days later, and this is from a 2 time a week paper. We still need news papers for local news. We do not have the blogs needed to deal with all local news yet, or Bloggers willing to dive into a story, interview, hold peoples feet to the fire.
Boycotts do not work. I would think we would fingered that out after what Jefferson and Madison did in the start of the 1800's. "Free ships make free trade"
Prisoner are not in prison to punish them, they are in there to keep other people safe from the prisoners. He can't be rehabilitated. His attorney is ruffly saying that because he has aspergers, he has no able to stop himself. He can not or will not stop doing things like this. Next time it may cost lives, maybe someone from the UK. If the UK is unable to protect its' people then the US should have the right to protect US people.
Now if his attorney is lied (doesn't the UK have laws that punish bending of the truth by attorneys) and the guy CAN stop himself, then the UK should have done something. But like someone above said, the UK would likely not give real prison time, just probation if that. In the UK it is not that big of a crime if no one got hurt.
I am not saying he needs life in prison, but he needs real help, and oddly he is not getting it in the UK. I know that many of the prison in the US have got some vary good real mental health systems in the last 10-20 years( a lot better then it use to be). I hope that they can help him learn stop himself.
On that list is France. France are also the people who are pushing the 3 strike law. The "internet is a human right" is being used for evil. By making human rights that many people don't have like "internet a human right", then taking it away like this. If you lived in a state that has no freedom of speech, then was giving it. But one week later they toke it away. How would you react? How is that different then if you had the right for 7 years?
They set it up so people will fight back less when "Human rights" are taking away.

Some women can see even better then Normal. We see in Red, Blue, Green, but they have a 4th. How about curing me of not being able to see the 4th?
