I liked the electronic voting. Not having the simple touch screen will turn off some younger voters, and make voting take longer. All we needed was a paper printout backup. Also, in Maryland I thank you could already fill out on paper if you did not like the electronic voting.
1st: English, unlike many other modern language, has not had a reset. most modern languages fix their spell to speak every now and then. But, English has not. This make English very hard to learn. I learn in one semester to spell better in Japanese then in 6 years of English.
2st: I think that the spelling list should be fully done away with. In the US we stop learning to spell after 6 years at 5 and 6 letter words. After that there is no class to learn to spell. I think that the 1st 6 years of spell class should go like this:
Every day the instructor pick some words out of some big 20000 word list and ask the students to put down how they would spell it.
The instructor looks at the work, then on the board goes over the types of mistakes one sees.

Over time the Instructor will grade on how the student is doing.
The AMD 780 chipset does a good job with decoding video (blueRay, and h264), and run most games with there mid settings. It runs better then my high end, at the time, 2004 video card.
It is not that they can't do it right. People have not been pushing them to. Now with the high use of video, people who never not use motherboard video are asking for more, and they are getting it.

Oil is drilled by many underdeveloped states that have little if any environmental regulations. Any less demand on the oil of the rest of the world would help decrees the environmental effect of accidents around the world.

If we can't supple the Power; electric cars will not work. Till then, raising MPG, and drilling more oil are needed.
The electricity cost in my state make electrical cars cost close to gas powered ones. Adding more electrical cars will only raise the Electricity prices. It would take 5 year to raise the oil output. They are talking about taking 5 year to approve new power plant.
Before the embargo on off-shore drilling there was platforms up and running. They are still there. It would not take a lot of time to get them going aging.
The oil companies want to use shale. Wikipedia says at start it would be "between US$70 - 95" a barrel(with References). Ones it is up and running, it will stay economical at ~$50 a barrel (a number seen a lot E.G, CNN, Fox). Some around the world talk about economical down to $20 a barrel. Even the $95 a barrel would be a god sent to start (oil at $125 a barrel now). Also, the likelihood of war will have less effect on the price of oil.
The oil companies have spend a lot of money finding economical ways to get shale, but the government is now preventing them to drill.
