Mimicking real paper takes away focus that could be spent in developing novel ways of using the available technology.
There are so many more interesting things you can try to develop. This IS a novel way of using the technology. You're making it into something we all know how to use... a good old fashioned book. This makes it much more appealing to a broader (read: older) audience who don't want to "learn something new".
The way I see it, Bam supports the bill with the exception of the retroactive immunity. He has even stated that he will fight to strip it from the bill. If his words are true, he will support the filibuster.
Remember how easy it was to listen on conversations over cellular phones back then? A piece of tinfoil or a soldered wire (some even allowed you to enter this mode via keypad) was all you needed to listen in on conversations. Not that I did any of this stuff... not me, no sir.
I'm so sick to death of this "$4 for a gallon", my heart fucking bleeds.
Come live in the UK for a while.
The dollar-per-gallon cost is not the issue... what IS the issue is a nation's energy costs rising over 400% in under a decade. I don't give a shit what country you live in or how much you pay for $resource... if it's cost explodes that much in such a short time, it WILL put a strain on you.
However I will side with you and say yes, my heart fucking bleeds for the people who make huge commutes in single-digit MPG vehicles. I have no pity for ANY of you. I was prepared for this... I own an econobox and live within ten minutes of my job. I pay 20 bucks per week in gas NOW. Gas could go up another two dollars per gallon and it would affect me none.
Why's he moaning about what time it starts at when people have a whole twenty-four hours to find a suitable time to download the thing? It's not like we all have to sprint to our computers and start it on the minute. We are Slashdot! Turning servers into slag is what we do best!
Indeed. Nothing says "peace" and "harmony" and "can't we all just get along" like smashing the windows of a local retail shop during your anti-war rally, and burning giant puppet effigies to show what you'd really do to people you hate if you could get away with it. Yes, hate is tolerated and even encouraged, as long as it's in the name of warm, fuzzy, friendly political correctness anchored in leftist, populist platitudes. Why these idiots - so often theoretically college educated - can't see the fantastic irony of hating in the name of tolerance, and being randomly violent in the name of peace, I'll never know. Unless it's because, most of the time, they're just muddle-headed poseurs with no critical thinking skills and they're actually attending protests to get dates, shock their parents, and come up with something new for MySpace because people are getting tired of just looking at pictures of them being drunk at parties. Tell me about it... those damn revolutionary traitors dumping all that tea just to make a point.
Yep. More often than not, it seems it's the tolerant, freedom loving liberal activists that vandalize and destroy other people's property. Funny... Someone ripped the bumper sticker off of my car one time. It was a Kerry/Edwards sticker and I was in a particularly red area.
Check your politics at the door.
Certainly more gameplay and a decent storyline would make it a better game. But sadly, fancy graphics will probably sell more on opening day. (See spiderman sequels) Really? See: Wii.
Hey, they obviously left out cars and trains here. A way to disable all cars on all LA freeways might have same use. I don't know what, but I'm sure some hare-brain in government could figure out what that would be good for. We have that technology. It's called "Gas Prices", and it does an excellent job at disabling cars and trains. What's it good for? Elections.
or to jump physical dimensions directly into the desired location with technology similar to Event Horizon, etc In reference to the Sun, why does this sound like an all around bad idea?
No, they're tiny dancing robot overlords of doom who will dance into your brain and make you dance repetitively like some crappy animated gif. So we finally reverse engineered the alien dancing gizmo.

My favorite set went by the name "Dacta". Legos + computer = geek heaven.
Enough power to run vista.
But not CrysisElect him president.
Khan... I'm laughing at the "superior intellect".

Where do you think the world's smallest violin is when somebody's not playing "My Heart Cries for You"?
Are they angels?
