I tried the same thing for the same reasons, and I found the weight loss stopped after about a year. And more exercise didn't help at all. Eventually I had to go to calorie reduction and actually more sugar in order to shed the last 40 pounds.

It is true we understand so little about how the whole thing works. My experience has been exercise is not a very big factor. I exercised a LOT and never lost a pound. Then I got a leg injury and lost 40 pounds (~18 kg) while having no exercise at all. It was all diet. My diet wasn't bad before, but perhaps I was eating too much to try to sustain all the exercise. That's speculation. I did eat a lot fewer calories with the injury. Then I have known other people with a very different experience. So now my best advice is simply, keep trying and be honest with yourself. And always bear in mind that your body weight is not the only reason you are alive.

Ordinarily, FDA will not need to review software patches before a device manufacturer puts them in place. FDA views most software patches as design changes that manufacturers can make without prior discussion with FDA. ......For example, manufacturers need to seek FDA's approval or clearance before installing a software patch if it would change who it’s for, what it does, or how it works (a change in the indication for use), and/or it would make the device less safe and effective.

The SC has never RULED this. It was mentioned in a different case. However, there is clear precedent in the US in the case law regarding combination safes. The defendant can be compelled to open/unlock in cases where there is clear evidence that relevant items are held by the lock. e.g. if the guy wrote in an email "I keep all that illegal porn on this encrypted volume". One cannot be compelled for a fishing expedition or under the rubric of a more general search warrant. I would guess from the invocation of All Writs that this isn't what happened in the case at hand. Or perhaps as others say it is an attempt to leverage All Writs for a wider precedent. I didn't read the case details, though.

If all the Sanders supporters care about their issues, they can join the party for a longer period of time, pay their dues, and enact change over time. There are a lot of bad aspects to the notion that some candidate could stir up a lot of people who rush to register as party members for the primary at the last minute then get the nomination.

So instead they pander to the lowest common denominator in order to have sufficient viewership.
