    Get a MiFi for whatever the current name is.
    This will allow your phone, tablet, laptop, gaming console, etc, to be online for less than a typical voice plan.
    Want a sleek phone for a night out and a rugged one for a day on the construction site? They'll both work with the MiFi.
    Getting a SIP/VoIP number, if you don't want Google Voice, is easier than ever.

  4. I took the TripleByte pre-quiz. They've been hounding me for my 'skills' in development being a great fit for a company that is hiring. The quiz said I was a 'top' candidate.

    I've never been a developer so I don't know why their analysis suggests I'd be a good coder. I don't trust their recruiting methods.

    You nailed it. People are up in arms about everythingTrump's administration is doing. They will look for every opportunity to demonize a good decision. Trump mandates are minimizing government. That's a wonderful thing. Government is in every nook and cranny. It doesn't need to be there.

    Let the private sector handle what it can. Not everything needs to be a function of government (handout) from taxpayer money.

    It's not about security. Google is doing this to lock-in users to their ecosystem. They realize users are starting to look elsewhere for software because of the privacy issues. This step is about adding another course to the wall around the garden rather than protecting any user.
