Why aren't more linux users gamers?
It isn't made for gaming. Sure it can... but...
The userbase is tiny compared to Windows.
Most of them run Windows for games anyways.
Why would they spend the time doing it?
LOL too true...
"Piracy is killing the industry! It'll be the end of everything!"
"We just made more money than ever before! If not for piracy we could take over the world!"
That's actually very common and easy. Cookies are pretty much just text files, and many aren't even encrypted. There's a lot of personal information floating in them.
There's plenty of decent ones, lots of good ones, and MMORPGs are becoming increasingly popular.. the PC is all about gaming now. Maybe he'd be happier using DOS and WordStar.
I already emailed MSNBC and let them know that MobiTV is distributing their channel with zero security causing them to lose revenue. Hopefully they'll light a fire under their ass.:D
The answer is because it is not even close to being ready for 'everyone'. Joe Blow who knows nothing about computers still can't fire up Linux then go find himself a random lame game to play or even a photo editor.
I think too much salt makes it very difficult for anything remotely earth link at least to survive, something about what it might do to the cells and whatnot.
So they say it is to keep their network from getting clogged... Ok, that makes sense. Like everyone else in the industry they oversell their speeds based on the assumption that not everyone is using the maximum amount of bandwidth all at the same time.
So why throttle these particular things then? Leave them wide open. If the network in that area starts to bog down, throttle them slightly to keep things flowing smoothly. Best of both worlds?
If there's ever another large conflict.. not only will so many people die, but we're so dependent on technology and satellites, and they'll be so easy to take out. Look at the undersea cables, then a couple missiles into space.. byebye international communications.
This sounds a lot like that one other site that claimed the same.. what was its name again? I already forgot.
Although it does say 4 labels are already onboard.... I wonder how true that is. If so, it might work out.
How do we stop them from becoming obsolete in the next 20 or 50 years?
Simple, we keep applying the same principles. Software testing works for this too!
Smoke testing, new test cases, etc.
I normally hate class actions... but this one makes a lot of sense. Blu-Ray came out.. the marketing hype stepped up.. and the technology didn't. Samsung and many others touted how wonderful Blu-Ray was, how the technology had all these awesome features - and of course they didn't bother to educate the many salespeople at the many retailers selling their products that all the technology they spouted off will NOT work with their 1st gen players.
As others have said... it couldn't come soon enough. TMobile prices were outrageous when you only needed a couple minutes. 2 Free hours is maybe even too much, but still not bad. Nice work for once, Starbucks!

Dude's gonna get himself shot.
Its about time something like this came out. It is about parents raising their children properly, not the games they play.

Why am I not surprised?

Very good point. I can't see that Google would let their service be FILLED with pages of copyright notice to other websites.

Yeah, fuck it. Why pay people for the works they create for a living? We should all just work for free and have the government control what we get.
