The DiscoveryHD channel has a program, "Predators of the Great Barrier Reef" which shows a natural enemy to the worlds reef population, the Crown Of Thorns Starfish. These starfish are demolishing the reefs at a very fast rate.
During the show, they discuss the fact that certain sea animals (fish, eels, sea-snakes) have venom which can help with pain management and possibly cure some illnesses.

I have no experience with the free variety, but when securing my parents machines, I went with Norton. I was able to configure the mahcines for auto update. Its easy...They dont have to touch a thing to be up to date. To be honest, Im more worried about their system's getting a virus than most people (they are the perfect malware/phishing/virus targets).
I used to play EQ a few hours every night. When I took off of work, I played all day.
Anyway, when my wife had kids, I became so involved with them, I had ZERO time to do this. I kept my accounts live for 6 months (although I never logged on once..)
I just realized what was really important in life.
Since then, I've tried SWG, WoW and even EQ2..I've liked the idea that you dont have to play that much to get that far...which is of course a myth... Its not the same. When you have little or no time to spare, you will get over it, because these games require ALOT of time to accomplish anything.
Maybe your friend needs to hit bottom, before s/he realizes this.
I always found women in EQ to be more into the roleplaying aspect of the game. They were kinder and used the language associated with EQ and certinaly NOT d00dspeak... The also brought more hugs and kisses to the game.. No duh..
In general it appears that Microsoft takes a long time to release a patch once a security flaw is found. What is the bottleneck? Does it take that long to fix? Is it stuck in QA? What system do you use to prioritize the fixes?
Given all of the hoopla about Intellectual Property and Patents, how do you feel about the Open Source Community implementing some of the neat features that Opera has created? If you are eventually bought out by a large company, would your answer change?
If you tell someone that there is the existence of a gravity generator, is that so far fetched? It seems like everything they have told these people might be at least slightly believable to anyone who isnt in the science field.

If you don't like the policy, I assume there are more than enough other colleges/universities to choose from...
