True. However, the ugliest animation is that stuff that is constantly shaking, like the "Dr. katz" show.. I'm not sure if that is still on. But it's annoying.
The user interface on this game is really bad (I tried the Windows Demo Version) -- RT 1 was a lot easier to play. Sure it has nice graphics, but it isn't fun when I'm cursing at the mouse cursor the whole time. Plus half the screen is taken up with dialog boxes.
It is someone on the Segfault.org humor site. I haven't been able to figure exactly what it is supposed to mean though because segfault is always down:/
There is some new exploit for wu-ftpd, proftpd, BeroFTPd going around.. I just got news of it from security mailing lists this morning. Basically, if you are using wu-ftp version prior to 2.5.0 you'd better upgrade!! I am not sure what versions of proftpd are vulnerable.. I just disabled the copy running on my home machine.
True, but switching from one type of unix to another type of unix is not that much of a difference. Most of my day is spent in tcsh, X, mutt, vi, and BitchX. I have the same programs on my Linux system at home and my FreeBSD system at work and they both perform equally well with no noticeable differences.
The only big difference between Linux and FreeBSD is the licensing. The FreeBSD license is considered more "friendly" by some.
On the other hand, I have not been happy with the treatment of security issues in BSD. Someone can post an exploit on bugtraq and it can be days before you get a patch to stop it from the mailing lists (after sorting through several broken patches that don't work). Unacceptable on a production server.
Also, the BSD people are not known for their friendliness but I believe this is changing.
MDI is great. You anti-mdi lamers can go ahead and spend 40 minutes moving all your Gimp windows one at a time from one desktop to the other, but us in the real world like to get things done fast! Long live MDI!
The fact is no one will hire you (at least not for any decent pay) if you don't have a degree of some sort. You have to invest money in a degree whether you actually need to learn anything or not. It's a lie it's a joke but that's the way the world works-- get used to it my friend. If you don't work with the system you'll get stuck taking orders from morons the rest of your life.
Well, I've never heard of either of those either, and I practically live on the web (there is nothing else to do at work). Another one I'd never heard of was www.bluemountainarts.com -- I'm thinking it might be something that someone paid to get on the list.

All the time. Look, there is a "Jobs" link on the lefthand side of the page.

IRIX is insecure! Any system which ships with unpassworded accounts is NOT SECURE! Not to mention the "holey" cgi-scripts.
You can always come back later.
LOL!
A criminal is going to jail? Oh what a shame. I am deeply concerned about the welfare of script kiddies. Yeah, right.
What if someone gets porn in their mail as spam? I've gotten porn spam numerous times and I definitely did NOT sign up for it!

Well, this is a Linux-only BBS (or whatever you call it). There are some good BeOS news sites out there though, you just have to look a bit.

It sounds like a legitimate comment to me.
LOL! It is good to see that others despise creative as much as I.
What the hell are you talking about?
or Windows 3.1 with Eudora Light! :)
How about we have the french bomb your house instead?
Yeah, especially those ones about gambling on the internet. Awfully suspicious.
Heheh my thoughts exactly. I bet Red Hat is pissed.
The most annoying thing about Google is that you can't do NOT to exclude certain things.

Why don't you go form your own country then? The Federation of Aristocratic Assholes
Ugh. What rock did you crawl out from under?
