Some parts? Yeah, the cell stage, which was a nice minigame. Certainly nothing worth 50 bucks though, especially not with it's DRM. But hey, it's EA...
There are ways to circumvent that. For example, you could place the torrent information at a random address in the picture, and display that address in captcha-form in the picture itself. If you'd like to get the torrent information, you'd have to open the picture in your favorite image display tool, write down the address, enter the address in the decryption tool, and let it do it's work.

They are the law anyways. When the government wants you gone, it can make you disappear/"die in an accident" easily with the resources they have access to. That's the downside of having a government strong enough to protect you from any threats - if it thinks *you* are a threat, you can be "taken care of" just as easily as the Al'Quaida terrorist next door.
But hey, you're living in a republic, no? So make sure you vote for the right representatives and everything should be fine.
I can't see what's so wrong about this. Really. It's not like they're invading people's bedrooms, recording their dinner talks etc - it just films people in the streets, a place were you can't demand privacy anyways. Instead of unreliable witnesses you now have an eye in the sky, and just think about how much policemen following an outlaw on the run could benefit from this as well.
I'm not saying there can't possibly be anything wrong with it, but I yet have to hear better counterarguments than purely ideological ones.
Japanese IQ test results actually tend to be quite a bit above European/American IQ test results. Why? Because of their culture, which promotes education and knowledge. This however does not mean that the Japanese are some sort of "master race". There is no such thing. IQ tests do not even measure "pure" intelligence - they measure intelligence through methods requiring *knowledge* (of maths etc), which is not the same as intelligence.
Race has nothing to do with intelligence. I can take some African kid, raise him in America by American standards and he will be just as "smart" as your typical American - he will be an American with dark skin and relatives on another continent.
Humans do not differ a lot by race. Sure, race defines your appearance and it can also have a mild impact on health related issues, but it does not influence your intelligence or ability to reason. Humans aren't really divided by race a lot - they are divided by culture. And yes, there are superior and inferior cultures (come on - a culture that treats women as inferior beings is inferior to cultures that treat women equal to men, period) - but that is no reason to judge people simply because of their heritage, which is just foolish. Else, you could just as well say that all Europeans are in favor of gun control and nanny states, all Americans are Christian fundamentalists, all French and Japanese are racist etc which is just as much BS as claiming that all Africans have inferior intelligence.
The difference is what the movie/TV show/etc is all about. If it's about telling a story in which rape happens, that's one thing - if it's about turning people on who get turned on by rape fantasies (essentially *promoting* their desire for rape), that's another however.
Joking aside,/signed. That does not mean CRPGs aren't enjoyable though - especially considering that your P&P group might not be available all the time;) .
Maybe, but there is a difference between the (in my opinion indeed disgusting) Manhunt and Dead Space (both very violent video games). In Manhunt, you kill innocent people for the sake of killing; in Dead Space, you kill zombie aliens to defend yourself (and occasionally, they take one of the good guys in a rather gruesome fashion). I'm not sure if banning games like Manhunt would be a good idea. I'd easily place it on the same level as rape simulators, but it's not so easy to draw the line when it comes to violence. There isn't really a slippery slope with banning rape sims, but when you ban Manhunt, you may just as well proceed to GTA, which, while still very violent and allowing the player to kill innocent civilians, does portray and "reward" violence very differently from Manhunt (I used to play GTA...Vice City I think, dunno, can't remember, when I was with a friend of mine and we had a lot of fun trying to get into the military base using a jetpack, stealing a tank and then wreaking havoc just to see how long you would survive, but the fun never came from the act of killing something itself).
To continue adding something to the discussion about violent videogames...I enjoyed Dead Space a lot and acted unnecessarily violent quite a couple of times as well ingame. For example, when one of these fsckin Necromorphs scared the hell out of me I stomped off all of it's limbs off and threw it's head down the next ventilation shaft (sounds sick, eh?). I became rather immersed in the game as well (I'm a player who loves to project himself into the role of the game's protagonist while playing), but as soon as I turned the game off or interacted with somebody off-screen, I was the same nice guy as always. I've met other people who played the same game, which where violent before playing it and after playing it. I can just repeat what everybody's saying - at least until a certain point it really depends on the person and not on the game.
Why do you get the impression that I hate Hawaii? Have I ever said so? Maybe I sounded a bit sarcastic, sorry for that - I was genuinely saying that Hawaii is a nice island. I just mentioned Hawaii since it's one of the two most likely locations in the States for the North Koreans to launch their nuke at according to various analysts.
It is sad to see that being supportive of one's country is now regarded as troll-ish on Slashdot.
Question: Who cares?
A: Nobody B: Nobody
C: Nobody D: Grammar Nazi
...Demonoid, here I come!

That's because only old people...eh, wait. Wrong Korea.
Soul: "Music genre originating in the United States combining elements of gospel music with blues".
There you go.
But I live in the attic, you insensitive clod! You get a *way* better Wi-Fi connection there!

Hot Coffee was adolescent button mashing - and ultimately as trivial and offensive as Custer's Revenge.
Uh, wait. I haven't played GTA, but the sex in the Hot Coffee minigame was consensual, not rape, wasn't it?
And when we finally found out how to cure them, maybe we could cure the Democrats as well!
...and that's why universal assemblers and similar technology will most likely be outlawed or kept strictly in the hands of the big governments.

Baldur's Gate 2 did it fairly well. You either imported your high-level char from BG1, or you started out with a lot of EXP when creating a new char.
No. *Real* men role play in bed.

Unlike the console however his graphics card won't be totally obsolete in 3 years though.
Do you really think military engineers never get to test the stuff they develop?
Maybe I'm confusing Manhunt with Manhunt 2 then (I admit, I've played neither). Was it 2 then where you're doing the snuff movies?

If Blizzard was nice, they'd just remove the necessity to farm gold and let players actually enjoy the game.
Eh, wait. Allow me to whoosh myself, please >_ .
