I think everybody missed the real test here, the test is which company is the most helpfull to people sending notices to sites and its obvious that iFast is the most helpful,
Now all I have to do is tell ALL my friends to go with them, iFast will like all the extra business its the least I can do for such a helpful company...
Anyone I know hates the look of the car though in saying that I wouldn't mind one, Fuel economy is not as big a issue in Europe* as in the USA but its important none the less.
ah what the hell like? Even in Ireland & UK people don't like the look of these cars, though in saying that there small and good for city use but they look like crap imho
" I think that most people get the adblocking stuff to rid themselves of popups."
ah wtf?, the adblock extenstion DOES NOT stop pop-ups Mozilla by default has a pop-up blocker, adblock allows you to remove normal adverts such as the one at the top of/. pages.
I don't know about the rest of you but as far as I was concerned the rest of the world already knew this, hell even Blair (UK) has been caught for this already. Its hardly going to be the case that Blair was lying but Bush was telling the truth, I mean who do they think there kidding? (the american public apparently)
In the end this news is not going to do anything, they'll still say they had terroristsTM and that is reason enough to attack the country.
At the very least they should allow non-US customers to atleast browse the site even if they can't use the services, its a very stupid policy
Incidently anyone using AOL anywhere around the world can access it because they'd have a US IP But then again why would you want to use the service?:)
"Thanks for your interest in Movielink, the leading source for movies delivered directly over the internet. We want you to enjoy our powerful movie download experience, but it is presently unavailable to users outside of the United States"
What a extremely helpfull site, can't even browse the bloody thing! And the above is when I tried to access movielink.com directly
Per usual you can bet that Eircom (Irelands monopolistic telco) had no plans on doing this untill Comreg (Irelands Telco regulator) killed them alittle.
Agreed, I was just about to say the same thing After all this is "News for Nerds", if you don't know which is which you shouldn't be reading this site..
AOL/TW employee's use these so why not offer it to customers, imho if banks gave out these devices for a one-off-fee on-line banking would be ALOT safer and there'd be less scams.
Also sometimes those secure ID devices can go out of sync with the server and thats when the fun begins:) Thats the only problems I've seen with them,
Headline reads "Lexmark Recalls 40,000 Laser Printers" then the story goes onto to say "An electrical shock hazard has caused Lexmard to recall about 39,400 laser printers." so infact they did'ent recall 40,000 printers!:)

This story has been on the BBC News website for almost a week now, must /. be so slow to report the news?
For those that want the service, the dupe is actually better value for money then the current story..
Although funnily enough mylastemail.com seems to be dead now
I have a hotmail account which I never ever have given to anybody and it still gets spammed to the last!
I'd never use the service for proper use, besides the interface sucks..
Don't be so sure, after all who do you currently pay your line rental to :)
Yes it'll change but it hasn't yet..
If America did the same* then they properly would.. :)
*NEVER gona happen

Dam this country sucks so much some times

The machine may not see your PIN but somebody looking over your shoulder could
Atleast with a PIN and a SecureID you have less of a chance of somebody seeing your PIN and stealing your SecureID tag.

Nice to know some banks are doing it, but for some reason I can't see AIB (Alied Irish Bank) or Bank Of Ireland doing such things :(

Agreed, the same goes for exploits that affect Mozilla, they'll increase as market share rises
AOL 5.0 for Mac OS8 & 9 uses IE
AOL for OSX for ah OSX uses the Gecko engine,
Now if they'd only start using that engine in Windows..
