NOTE: I'm not saying this will happen tomorrow, but extrapolating the current state of botnets relative to the current state of other systems leads me to believe, on a relative basis, systems may be complex relative to one another as they are today. If that is the case, well... that would be bad.
Are you saying that the true, skynet T-1000 will infact be RoleCKS (tm) clad and sporting a gigantic boner that won't quit?
The only problem? Their conversion rate seems to be $1 per â1, somewhat less favorable than the current exchange rate, which is roughly $1.40 per â1.
Yeah but they don't have to physically ship pixels when they change money. Pixels are heavy, bytes are dense.. it's a complicated system of pipes and transmission lines.
Reality is, most IE users have no idea there is a flaw and no idea there is a patch. So the lack of in browswer auto download basically means that nothing has been achieved for "most" of their user base.
One thing I do notice about the less savvy users is that they do mostly trust windows update.
Exactly. The most stringent DRM and basically, the least complained about form, too. It's a very smart setup and I don't think if I were a game maker, I'd be making anything less than a network emphasised game.
Ah yes, nothing like journalistic scummery. Begin with offensively ludicrous theory, slowly injecting more and more practicality (if tabloid, do not bother) into the scenario being portrayed until such a time that the reader has read the article, clicked on the ads on the page, finally realising that what he/she read was a whole lot of nothing.
This seems like a much better alternative than silicone or teflon or whatever they're using these days. I could go for
Except that it isn't permanent and naturally degrades. Everybody knows it isn't a real bodymod unless you'll still be rockin' it in the nursery home.

Thanks. They amuse me no end. I have so many backed up, to go through that it is super daunting to do. Make sure you get a decent mic, you're wasting your time (and valuable awesomeness) without a good one. That doesn't necessarily mean expensive, though.

Initially, I too, found it quite sinister experiencing the unconscious me but that subsided pretty quickly. I began recording myself (audio) because I was having a very intense paralysis/possession dream. I wanted to know whether I said/did anything during these dreams.
What I discovered was shocking. In the past year I've screamed, shouted, giggled, made bizarre comments and strange sounds, hummed etc. It is constantly surprising to experience the varied pitches and vibes coming out of my mouth. I should point out, none of this occurred during a possession dream for which I am absolutely silent during.
Yep, I've completely failed with conveying what I meant to say. Shortsighted on my part, but my point was that the only people affected were those who want/are to be legitimate customers and that DRM didn't make people "vindictively" pursue pirate options for the kick of it.
I think whoever modded this misunderstood my point. Bugs in Eve are part of the game. They should be intended. Just as laws in government steadily evolve as people find ways to exploit holes.
This is predicated on a whole lot of nonsense. Who in their right mind thinks that DRM increases piracy. DRM has very little to do with piracy at all. It only affects the people who legitimately buy the game, not the pirates. That's the point. The amount of people who would deliberately download a game because it has DRM is so minor it's silly. Hype is the single most largest factor on whether a game is pirated and that is a double edged sword
Congratulations to Ubisoft on coming up with their publicity stunt. Hope everybody recognises this and doesn't buy their game (or play it).
I never made the original contention, I just read the post and interpreted it how it was obviously meant to be interpreted, rather than the way that makes it easy to poke holes in what the person is saying. Easy to perceive gross generalisation in what the original poster said - but also obvious that it wasn't the poster's point. Don't know about you, but I'd rather spend my time being constructive, than arguing semantics.
Nice trick. Everybody knows the off switch was officially depreciated in kernel 1998.

Scary.

Whoever modded the parent post as "Informative" is probably to be going senile!
Whoever posted that probably doesn't have the ability to discern tongue-in-cheek moderation.
I pasted your post into windows calculator as requested.
The answer was 55378008.
I suspect the polarity was reversed during the process, though. You should probably view it from a vertically inverted vantage point.

Rinse and repeat
Hah, excellent bile.

You forgot the bit when Goatse strikes.

All of this I have no memory of. Most of it I find incredibly amusing, though. Here is me SINGING whilst asleep.

Look into my eyes......
I can't wait for the solid state basketball. It's going to change the world.

But I thought less was more?
It was, but it grew and now it is more or less more than less.
are more like "features".
How much these guys must suck at masturbation. Can't even hold a package.
You tell me, is $60.00 bigger than $4.00? It's been a while since I took arithmetic but I seem to remember that this is so
Confirmation on that, chief. $60 is more than $4.

This sounds like a job for VELCRO!
