It looks like in this case the problem is not with the foreigners, it seems that the problem is with these banking institutions.
Do you realize that they have just received billions of US dollars that are really supposed to be money that came out of taxes that the US citizens/corporations are paying? If this is so, then the question is absolutely legitimate and your objection to the story becomes off-topic. The question is this:

However my opinion is that the conflict between Gaza and Israel could have been stopped a very long time ago if it wasn't for the countries that are interested in it, the Arab countries that surround Israel. Whether the conflict could have been stopped by helping people of Gaza to move away to Arab nations or simply by continuing the previous arrangements (don't forget, at some point Israel was really divided into pieces with Muslims and Jews living basically side by side, I mean Jerusalem was half Jewish half Muslim) but this was stopped after too many bomb attacks. The conflict is artificial and is maintained on purpose by surrounding nations.
Also don't forget that after creation of Israel, entire Jewish populations of surrounding Arab countries were driven out. So people lived in Iraq, Lebanon, Egypt, Syria, Yemen, Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Saudi-Arabia who were Jews, but after Israel was created there was so much violence to those people, that they were forced to either move out or die. We are talking about a million people at least who were misplaced from those countries.

I lived in Israel for a year, have relatives there, this does not qualify me as an expert, but I have an opinion.
My opinion is that the conflict between Gaza Strip and Israel is artificial. I believe that the countries that share their borders with Israel: Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Egypt and those that are very near Israel, let's say "a rocket's flight": Iraq, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen, this countries in between them have so much unused space, that given the amount of help that Gaza gets from them, it would have been cheaper simply to relocate the entire Gaza population into any of those countries. There is so much unused territory, that rationally speaking, the continuation of this conflict makes no sense. So what I think is happening, is that many of these bordering countries are interested in the continued conflict around them. It is really a perfect way to maintain the state of alarm, to push forward religious agenda of promoting Islam around the world and also very importantly, it is a great way to create more kamikaze fighters, who will not hesitate to strap a bomb to themselves and kill some heretics and go to the Muslim heaven (you know, the 72 virgins and such.)
So I actually think that Israel is just a convenient way of achieving the above goals, if tomorrow all citizens of that country disappeared, the conflict would have to continue. There would always be a way to continue it, it is always easy to come up with other conflicts. Iraq has Sunnis and Shiites - here is a perfect example of why it will make no difference whether Israel exists as an entity or not, there will be conflict because it is profitable for many involved parties to maintain it.
My point is that this conflict in the Middle East will not stop no matter what happens with Israel itself. This conflict is really about control of oil, control of money, control of people through religion, promotion of idea of Islam and so on.

Also, those with foreign currencies will be able to bring items into US and sell them in the US for gold. Then they may use gold for exchanging for items in Asia. I think these will be the people who will restart manufacturing in the US once price for people will go down (salary expectations I mean). But this would only work if the government does not interfere, which it will.
Government will interfere by measures of fixing prices, which, in the climate of hyper-inflation will lead to shortages of basic goods. This will become a problem, who wants to produce if the money is worth nothing? So the next logical step is what the USSR has done in the beginning: collectivization of the farmers. The farmers will be forced into collective farming with the dollar being completely shut off from the outside world. This obviously means collapse of the US Constitution. The population will be fed by government issued coupons, everyone will be limited to a small number of these coupons.
In this environment it seems that the best bet is to own things, like non-perishable food items, alcohol, medication, ammo maybe, energy supplies (for those who can, it's basically impossible to stock up in the cities.)
I would say that it makes more sense to buy canned/dried food, alcohol, coffee/tea/sugar/flour/powdered milk/powdered juices/rice/dried fruit etc. rather than any stocks. This is most likely true for the people with little money to spare. What good are stocks if there will be nothing to eat?
Global collapse is really not a meaningful idea though, it means nothing. Collapse can be of something, so what is it, that is going to collapse?
I think that energy, farming, manufacturing (chemical, mechanical, electronics, clothing, food, building materials), all those things are essential for people lives. However things like currencies are not. USD is inflated and will inflate further, because the current, the new and all governments never want to move away and let the economy do what it does, so instead of the interest rates going up to where they are supposed to be, the government will hold the interest rates down and will print more currency.
Currency is meaningless when it is just printed without being backed up by some value. If there is no extra manufacturing, production, then there is no value. Paper in itself has very little value, it can be used as wall paper for example, it can be used as very bad fuel (burning paper is not very efficient, because you have to manufacture paper first.)
My belief is that globally, those who produce stuff produce value. Thus those with production capacity will recover no matter what and people are used to having paper currency in their wallets, not gold, so I bet on Chinese money and gold. USD is dead to me.
That's a silly way to look at it. You don't have to buy stocks if you believe that economy is going to collapse. I don't think that 'the economy' will collapse, that doesn't even make sense. I do believe that the US dollar is dying out and it will cause Canadian dollar (which matter to me here) to go down as well, but all this means is that 'money' should be invested into something else right now. This is a casino, I bet on gold and Chinese currency/stock.
