The bhut jolokia I'm familiar with germinates in 30-80 days (in 80F soil) and isn't ready for harvest for about 150 days, not a MN friendly plant, and a bit of a waste of a good multi-year plant to be planted outside.
It's the same point as putting linux on your [toaster|vacuum|console]. Bad experience, limited use, but you do it anyways.
I don't know about this new one but Bhut Jolokias are difficult to grow, much more finicky than most peppers, so it's a challenge and if successful a chemical weapons plant.
If the property owner/renter/leasee/employee asks you to leave and you don't it's trespassing. You don't need the cops to ask, you need them to haul away the trespasser.
Cavities can't kill you. It's a conspiracy to put mind control chips in your teeth. So if you really love your children *NEVER* take them to the dentist.
(You think he'll buy it? The gene pool needs a bit more... wait, this is still on???)
I have to wonder how they reconcile the whole "it is easier to pass a camel through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter heaven" bit.
Although that's assuming that the teachings of Christ still have anything to do with modern Christianity. I agree with Gandhi more and more, "I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ."
(Though I suppose with sufficient funding a miniature lap camel could be bred to fit through the eye of a comically over sized needle and god would have meant for that camel to exist eventually so as to not upset their fundy beliefs further.)
The sheeple think they might be rich someday and they don't want anyone to take their imaginary money away.
"You too could be rich some day ! Don't let your fellow poor leech away your riches! Kick those women off the free abortion train today or you'll be ruined!"
Sony removed the wondrous OtherOS *after* Geohot (ab)used it to crack their system. So thank George for your precious OtherOS machine no longer being able to play online or current games, since if it really was that valuable you could choose to just not update and you'd retain that all important feature.
I agree with you, I was a bit fast and loose there with terms as my point was more on who the actors were than the act itself and I doubt countertrolling would see any killing as legal.
"Hotz had released a firmware modification that allowed a Sony PlayStation 3 to run other operating systems."
If that's all he did I wonder why Sony is so mad at him. It's not like he leaked their secret or anything. If he did that then I could see Sony breaking out the big legal hammer.
Or perhaps the summary is trying to paint St. George in a better light to inspire some sympathy from those who don't know better.
To get one channel you liked in the $60 package the provider probably had to bundle in 5 crap channels or no dice on getting the good channel from the distributor.
And yet we developed the TV and used it for entertainment.
Before that we had Bach. Before that Shakespeare. Before that bards, skalds and other storytellers that told the same stories and musicians that played the same music, developed by previous generations, over and over, because that's what the people wanted, a polished and practiced product not the lackluster crud they could come up with by themselves.
People have always wanted polished entertainment done by professionals. TV just makes the audience bigger.
I don't think we (the U.S.) have the infrastructure to have everybody doing on-demand all the time yet. Yes, it works when some people do it, but to have all people do it would really overdraw our bandwidth capabilities.
That point rarely gets brought up and I am glad to see someone sees the point of centralized broadcasting.
If you think WIC is degrading imagine being the minimum wage clerk ringing up foods they could never afford for someone who doesn't have to pay for it since they through all the work of getting knocked up.
I hate WIC with an intensity unmatched by any star in this universe.
Since they're poor their time off from their two full time low wage jobs is best used on slow and cumbersome transportation. Of course, if they just decided to stop being poor they wouldn't have that problem.
How much gets spent on women who have the condition of pregnancy, a completely preventable and treatable condition?
Anecdotal evidence time, I know a number of people that soaked their insurance for five hundred thousand to a million dollars treating that condition and its resulting complications
Five hundred thousand would cover a lot of gastric bypasses.

A modern example of the Sam Vimes "Boots" Theory of Economic Injustice and touching on the Ramkin extension, well done.
Would be != have been.

So for the question you were trying to answer you shouldn't assume the calculator is giving you the correct answer.

Terrific, a one-demon bag. Sensational. What's in it?

He just borrows one when he needs it.
If they were just dealing with Republicans you'd be right but they had to deal with Filibusticans, simply having the majority does not defeat them.

Clausewitz would murder you.
Murder is a person to person action.
War is a state to state action. So yes, war is murder, but on a state level, not a personal level.

I've always preferred "never attribute to stupidity what can profit from malice".

But are supermarkets available in all areas? I think not. And those areas that don't have supermarkets also happen to be poor areas.
It's expensive to be poor and easy to be too poor to afford a frugal lifestyle.
