    They have figured it out. Why do you think they bundle crap channels with the good ones? The they, that's the NFL, MLB, HBO, and Comedy Central.

    The carriers generally don't have the clout (or money) to say they're just going to carry the good channels. If they did you'd still be paying at least the cost of the ultra super mega package for your a la cart selections.

    Note the "rustbuckets" and "beaters". They're only cars in the technical sense that they have four wheels and an engine. Anything that works beyond that is a bonus.

    All it took to put everyone on the floor laughing at my regular lunch table was three little letters, E, F, and C.

    The fact that the out of state people with the Benzes and Beamers in the parking lots were, thanks to reciprocity and other programs, paying less than us poor in-state schmucks with the rust buckets and beater was also a guaranteed laugh riot.

    Possibly because the police don't patrol dangerous low-income neighborhoods as much or as well as the rich burbclaves and the rich don't have to resort to physical criminal means to take someone else's property.

    If I want detailed information on WWII there are books and real encyclopedias that have it covered.

    If I want detailed information on "popular culture" items, I used to look to wikipedia, specifically because there was a page for every pokemon and other obscure things.

    Up until The Great Webcomic Purge I though WP was a cool project, now it's just a faster information source than google.

    Though when they find out that people don't want $60 per month streaming killing off Netflix will leave them to rebuild from Qwikster (or WTH it was).

    Netflix going streaming only shows they think they can make a profit it from it and if they can make a profit from it their suppliers will figure out they aren't making enough profit from Netflix. Kinda like what's happening now. DVDs by mail require a physical infrastructure. Streaming just takes some web monkeys.

    There's no difference between a small, easily carried item and bulky or immobile things nor any difference between someone in a relatively stable city and someone in contested countryside?
