    A simple solution that penalizes preventative measures.

    I'd rather have sick people be able to stay home while contagious and doctor visits be feasible. It really sucks when everyone else is bringing in the horrible disease-du-jour courtesy of their school kids.

    Sorry if you got your conspiracy hat and robe on, but the OLPC XO doesn't run hot, it can barely run luke-warm. A low power system with a (for a laptop) tiny battery and a thick plastic case without any air/heat vents is not going to make it much above room temperature and even if it did all the guts (aside from the battery, keyboard, and trackpad) are with the screen.

    Perhaps they count "desktop replacement" behemoths as actual laptops or they're expanding laptop to include luggable and portable.

    The working class works, that's what they're there for, someone needs to produce something of value for the rich, err sorry, the "middle class" to exploit.

    The rich get richer and the poor get children. It's not just a line from a book but a way of life that must be maintained (whether the poor like it or not).

    My iPhone 4 has problems if I hold it wrong. It also says 'Samsung' and is a flip phone, but according to /. only iPhone 4s have problems with being held incorrectly so my phone must somehow be an iPhone 4.
