My revision of history must be out of date, it says the Americans got routinely pounded in the field until they decided they needed to be a professional army and brought in foreign advisors. I suppose it's cleaner to leave out the Prussians and the French but leaving out all the major engagements seems a bit silly.

Now living in the middle of nowhere with the closest shopping area doing everything they can to not carry anything means I order online for just about everything nonperishable. Even if I did want to shop locally I'd have to go to another county or state to find it.
If you're worried about being fap-fodder or groped wouldn't a solution be to have all the TSA screeners be female since according to common wisdom women are incapable of being anything other than the victim in sexual cases?

You got one part right, that the other stores were allowed to sell non-DRM mp3s to compete with iTunes. The part you got wrong was that iTunes was allowed to drop its DRM, they weren't forced to by the market. Jobs didn't want DRM in the first place but it was a precondition the recording industry put in to start iTunes.
