    I think the energy used driving my waste coffee grounds to the central reclamation facility will more than offset the energy gained. Why don't I just through them in my garden and eat the tomatoes?

    I keep wanting to just ignore such errors, calling the writer an idiot, but often the random units cause the science to be indecipherable. In this case you can figure out what they are getting at.

    I think for a hundred yen you also have to high jump the gates at both ends of the trip. Note always make sure the gate has properly read your ticket before running through. the Machine does NOT have your safety in mind as at swings that bat out to stop you dead. No it didn't happen to me, it happen to a, erm, friend.

    Not that there is anything wrong with that. I find OSX makes a far better SSH client than Windows.

    Further not so esoteric proof. Barometers drop prior to a storm. In weather reports - High pressure system is dry low pressure system is rain etc.

    I think there should be ample computers in the Library and in Computer Labs. Individual class rooms, I don't see the value unless every kid, or pair has one. Really you don't put one book in each class room and tell the kids to go nuts.

    There are good SEO techniques - Valid HTML. proper CSS. good English, or Language of your choice etc. Proper spelling and grammar etc. Proper use of Ad sense even. Then there are Bad techniques, that tend to not work or backfire soon enough. It's like money lenders some are better(Bank) some are worse, payday loans and some carry baseball bats.

    Worked for a guy that decked his house out with x10 gear. one night some friends were over, we logged into the control computer and started flipping switches. took him almost an hour to figure it out and phone me.

    They tend to get one adware spyware or whatever the AV companies call it so as not to have to provide protection, that then invites 40 of it's best friends in for the party.

    I propose we use artificial light, either incandescence, halogen, LCD, CFL or bonfires to solve the lack of light issues.

    The answer, regardless of career path is always volunteer work, in the case of programming that may be an Open source project. There are also non-profits looking for help, simple scripts and small programs to automate their work flow count as experience. You may get culled by a mindless sorter/agency for not having two years programming, but to most managers hiring juniors any related experience is good, if it shows your work ethic and general abilities.

    I always try to explain that to people right after they say "Gmail has strange ads". They never get around to explaining the ads after that. I figure it's better for both of us.
