When they get it right, they get it right. Their arcade titles, the Genesis and Dreamcast were awesome.
But when they get it wrong, they really get it wrong, like when some genius decides to release 9 million awful add-ons for the Genesis. Getting out of the hardware biz was supposed to make them better. It hasn't. They mainly make awful rehashes of their old franchises. Madworld is the only Sega title I've considred buying for years but even then I know it won't be great so I'll pick it up cheap.
I get the impression Sega was a company that had great developers and poor managers and as time goes on the good devs leave and more bad managers come on board.
The Asians are getting to expensive. That's why we need to build up Africa's infrastructure so we can outsource to them instead. Arguably it's nice to send work to the people that need it the most but it's also abusing people by shifting work away from people just to save a quick buck.
Why don't companies build better products to increase profits? Software in general is in dire need of better quality.
You're also allowed to take pictures from public areas. The last thing we need are nazi parents deciding where we can take pictures because they're desperate to think their butt ugly child is pretty enough to be pedo bait.
I've yet to see any picture that shows the inside of someone's house in such a way that would be of any real use to anyone.
Also I think you want to have a dig at Google just because they're the best. Quite frankly they're not the only ones doing such things. Just because MS opt for a bird's view doesn't make it any better. It's still zooming in rather far and gives someone a better view of your property and renders your fence worthless. But hey, it's not popular, so that that doesn't matter.
Its graphics were rubbish since day one. There are games with better graphics, of course, but they generally don't sell as well because the openness of computers allows companies to sell shit systems and that's what most people buy so they can't play the decent games.
I assume you mean the square that appears when you mouse over certain areas. I think that is just mean to align with the side of the street for looking at that area. Some how it determines where to do that and sometimes that functionality picks a window. Just like sometimes the face blur misses someone's face but blurs a horse's face or a statue's face.
Street view isn't that bad. Certainly not as invasive as all the live web cams floating around on the net.
If anyone wants to commit a crime on your home it will be someone local who can keep an eye on your movements so they know exactly when you're not there or it'll be a local bum in need of a fix and picking your house because it's close and looks good.
The worst thing that can happen is you're a married man caught picking up a gay prostitute and your face isn't blurred or something similar.
Most may not be but some are. The point being though that Nintendo didn't feel now was the time for HD and it's look more and more like MS and Sony are quietly agreeing with them.
The point was that the implication that the PC is light years ahead of the consoles, which admittedly it has the potential to be, but just because the PC has been ahead in terms of resolution doesn't mean the graphics are better.
Everyone had a good laugh at Nintendo when they said HD was unnecessary but they were proven right. No surprise there, the company hasbeen around for ages and has the best track record for making a profit and satisfying customers.
Yeah, nothing like playing games like World of Warcraft with its N64-like graphics on 1600x1200. That makes a huge difference!
The PCs superior resolution might mean something if everyone didn't abandon the system and move to consoles.
They didn't create the problem any more than the yellow pages created a problem. Both services can and will be abused because there will always be someone who's going to be a tit about things.
Imo, they shouldn't have to do anything unless the site is performing an illegal action then the site should be removed from their search as any other illegal activity should.
I suppose I can't really complain as it's not his intention (I assume) that his thread will get slashdotted but why do people still use bandwidth limiting sites to host their image. Not everyone can view your post 5 seconds after you submit it.
Actually I have and was a result of dropping a brick on my toe. This was in the US, my toe did in fact become infected because I waited (hoping I could sort it myself by soaking it in hot salt water, keeping it aired out, etc) so I had to go to the doc.
It took about 4 days to my appointment but I am fully aware of how painful it can be but I also know full well there are different stages and if you're having your toes looked at on a regular basis (because you have wonky toe nails, like this person) then they'll catch it early and sort it out long before it gets to the stage I was at because I was too tight with my money to pay.
Being an American living in the UK, I've experienced both systems and neither is really worse than the other in terms of service. The difference is that you get either a large bill in the US or get effectively black listed for buying insurance.
Now, I do wait a bit longer (like maybe 20 minutes rather than 10) in the doctor's waiting room but I much rather do that than paying out the ass.
I rather not test cancer care or major operations in either country but for people that I know that have had operations, none of them had significant waits except for one who was getting an ingrown toe nail removed. Since it posed no risk they told the person that it could take up to a month to get scheduled in. It took two weeks. Considering at that point it was more of a preventative think rather than fixing something infected or painful, I'd say that's no a bad deal.
There are certainly nightmare stories and some bad hospitals, the same as you'll find in every country including the US.
The US already has social healthcare for the elderly and the poor. I'm not sure why it's so wrong for the young and middle class to get treated the same.
For a country that goes on about equality, the course of action should be to give everyone free healthcare or give it to no one rather than giving it to people in key voting demographics and I find it highly ironic that most of these numb nuts that you find protesting free healthcare the loudest are in fact either poor or old people who have their healthcare sorted for them anyway.
These people would have more of an argument if there weren't so many socialist programs in the US already which are either successful or that people just simply don't seem bothered about ending and people seem to be happy throwing money away on pointless wars which will increase debt and taxes and you get no benefit from it.
At least if taxes were raised for healthcare instead of questionable wars then US citizens would get some benefit.
No one said it's perfect but internet mail services have had at least one or two downtimes and all of the online mail services have been more reliable than my company's mail server. I'd say Google's doing quite well to be honest.
Sorry but I rather see the dev get hit with the cost so they think twice about releasing a shit demo and it's only fair that Sony gets to recoup their bandwidth costs. $160,000 is quite minor compared to what MS will milk from its customers. But then again, the Xbox 360 wouldn't be profitable at all if MS offered up comparable pricing as the competition.
And what about requiring a Gold membership to view Facebook or Twitter on your 360? It's not even their servers and they're charging people to access the sites. I'm surprised they don't charge you for turning the damned thing on.
I suspect MS is just looking for a way to get more money for themselves out of it. An MMO is something people will play for quite some time. They cna't let devs give away anything for free or allow people to spend anything less less than a premium price to game on the 360.
Don't hate on steam. It may me old but it's proven, uncomplicated (which is great) and it can be generated in many ways. I dare say it's perfect.

Yes you can post your opinion and everyone else can reply to point out you're as intelligent as a aborted retard.

Try working for someone who is jerk and always wrong. It makes you want to staple their ball sack to their forehead.

Ah, the trouble I could have gotten into if digital cameras were affordable during my college years..... :)
yeah because man breasts are illegal.
QQ MOAR!

Doesn't really matter when the ram is included for free and isn't any harder to install than a memory card.

There are women on the internet. They go to Oprah.com to talk about having their periods and shopping on the computer that a man bought for them.

Chrome doesn't have a shareware version and it can be removed unlike IE.
