I'm sure wikipedia's quality increased as the number of people who cared had increased but then everyone uses it and its quality goes back down. There is also an increase in articles on stupid stuff that attracts kids and idiots so there will be more mistakes.
As you say spell checking isn't a viable solution for an idiot. It's only of value really to people who make accidental mistakes. Idiots still manage to look like idiots.
If it genuinely cost that much it would be due to him buying more sets than he needed to get the appropriate pieces. If Lego made a set that wouldn't be required. They obviously have capability to create the bricks he used already. They'd just have to include the right blocks so I'd get it would be in the $100 to $200 range.
Would you prefer that we had a dozen standards for hard drives connections / sizes / etc? The problem isin't dealing with different companies it's the fact that a single OS is implemented in such a way that you lose the benefit of having a single OS. Where as Apple makes it easier to develop across different hardware though admittedly there isn't a ton of variation but they've done well to make it so developing for the 3GS didn't mean you could only sell on that version without jumping through tons of hoops. Android could have it too but no one wants to do that.
It may be good for consumers (if they make decent tablets) but it's not like it's going to make any one of them topple Apple and in fact it's more likely to turn out they'll end up fighting against each other and cutting corners to grab a bigger piece of the Android market.
I use multiple search engines. I primarily use DDG but somethings, like image searching is better done on Google and it's so easy to do a google search from DDG.
If someone wants to know if their app accesses the network (ie cost them money) then they want to know under all circumstances not just something primarily made for net access. It's a flaw in Google's design.
You can ask that once the US quits taking domain names away from citizens of other countries or spying on them or having much different expectations on countries when it asks them to extrasite their citizens compared to when other countries want the US to send someone to them.
Android is pretty much becoming a joke. Phones are too expensive for half baked software from companies (including Google) who don't like supporting customers.
I've used DynDns for years for free and realised that actually it's not that expensive and I like the other features. I have no problem with them kicking the life long moochers off if it secures their business so those of us who pay can ensure they'll be around. There is no money to be made on the free accounts. They can't even get ad revenue from it so suck it up and pay the couple of bucks or make your own.
The issue is that in at least one case it's clear cut that it wasn't pirated. UMG doesn't own Mega Song and while I don't care for song or MegaUpload which is effectively a pirate site, it's wrong to just let some big media site have free reign over which content they want to delete.
Why doesn't it apply to video games or food? Quite frankly if you're too embarrassed to show the actual product you're selling them improve it rather than lying to me.
Google seem to be trying their best to the biggest douches on the net. I think I can safely say I won't be buying another Android phone again and I'm going to start migrating off of Gmail. I've already started using DuckDuckGo for all my searching.
Gene Simmons is a gigantic ass but he is entitled to his opinion. Anyone that wants to silence someone for having an opposing opinion is an even bigger ass.
Rather than single out one thing let's punish people who do stupid shit. People who do things like play on their phone and don't pay attention should just lose their licence for a few years same if you rather eat food than pay attention to the road. Too many people treat driving as if its a right and the government rather let you drive and take your money but instead they should be taking bad drivers off the road.
They have to have discs as long as there are big chunks of the US where downloading games is simply not possible. The US is MS' biggest market. They're useless in Japan and even Europe, aside from the UK, isn't that keen on the 360. So why limit sales in the only region that loves your system?
No matter how you want to slice it a fair chunk of people aren't impressed with it. Trying to mask that by saying 78% enjoy it doesn't change the fact that 22% not being happy is pretty high.
There are a lot of people who are insistent that Apple products are highly over priced and that the iPad isn't any better than a $200 competitor. Then they buy the thing and wonder why it's not as a good as an iPad.
If you read the android fanboy comments the $200 device is everything the $500 is and more. The iPad simply can't compete. That of course was before the Fire was released.
PHP is full of bad practices and if you do want to rely on the documentation and you're new to programming you're going to see a load of poor code in the user contributed comments. There is no level of moderation to ensure people are putting acceptable help on the site so not surprisingly it's mostly crap.

What about Austria and Belgium?

And what buy an xbox where they charge for everything including taking a shit in your own home?

Or he's really old to programming and doesn't keep up. PHP used to be a Perl framwork.

But some programming languages encourage people to make a mess.
They're a oil producing country of course they rather have people rely on oil than other sources.
