It definitely happens. I've worked for a company that was seemingly always in panic mode. They needed more developers to stand and point out that things turned out shit because their management was awful.
I'm sure it's filled your needs but you're not the majority. I don't like tablets and don't own one. The closest thing have is an EEE 901 netbook but it's not a tablet mainly because I don't want one. Your 'macbois' comment is laughable seeing how I'm watching Dr. Strangelove on my Lenovo running Ubuntu. Just because I acknowledge the fact that Apple leads in aesthetics and most PC manufacturers consistently fail at it doesn't mean I'm some sort of mac fanboy.
My previous job had a stack of iPads to lend out for meetings or whatever and I see a lot of people with tablets on the train. They use them mainly for reading and games so arguably they're just glorified kindles but they are buying them and they probably do better with public transportation users than anyone else or so I would believe form my experience. I think the reason you don't see everyone with one is because sadly there is really only one worth buying, the iPad, and not everyone is going to fork the cash over for one.
It's a laptop masquerading as a tablet. It's bulky and not terribly pretty and it runs windows. It has nothing people would want from a tablet. A tablet isn't meant to be a laptop replacement so a laptop wanting to a tablet is lame. PC manufacturers need to quit being cheap and actually work on their designs more then maybe they can make things people will buy.
They do look exceptionally similar to each other. As someone who likes keyboards on his smart phone I've been annoyed that most companies try to mimic Apple but none of them are that similar except this. Samsung should have expected it even if they do eventually win it.
It's not black, doesn't shape it's speak in the same way (because there is none), it's not the same size, doesn't operate with a single button or organise icons like the iphone.
The quality of games are pretty fucking low at the moment. They will likely be released buggy and require patching, they'll be the 4th, 5th or 6th sequel in a series, it will rely heavily on violence to cover up the fact the acting and story sound like something written by a 5 year old and to top it off it will be $50 or $60. No wonder people don't finish games. You can't tell half of them apart. Of course you're going to get bored.
Shortening the game and still charging $50-$60 is not going to go down well.
The cartless model won't work unless they make a phone. Retailers (especially game retailers) will turn on NIntendo quickly like they did with Sony and the PSP Go. It would die a quick death and if they make a phone then they will be competing with Apple and they'll need something that is better in a lot of areas other than gaming where they have no experience. The Wii and the DS were two of the two biggest sellers ever if not the biggest. I don't think anyone would be expecting Nintendo to top that when no one else can.
I have every iteration of the DS but I admit I'm a special case and there isn't *that* much of an upgrade for most everyone else especially if you don't like 3D. I think the improved graphics, street pass, etc and the fact it's fully backwards compatible makes it a worth purchase but I'll admit if the remake of Zelda 64 didn't come about early on then I may have very well passed on the 3DS until the price was reduced.
'Pundits' have been paid to hype this whole Apple vs Nintendo thing since the DS came out and no one noticed, the DS went on to sell a metric fuck-ton of units. The 3DS sells well but it hasn't blown away the DS so some people think it's not doing well. THe world is in a recession, the 3DS is more expensive and the DS has a ton of games. Of course it will be slow going and it has nothing to do with Apple.
As long as you insist on going to war and not raising taxes, nope it won't do a thing. People's personal debt will probably remain the same because people are too comfortable to change.
An their right to the term will only be in the areas they've trademarked it. So if they haven't trademarked it in everything then you could use Windows in the name of your toilet paper. In fact there are other trademarks for Windows as I recall and at the moments there are two trademarks for Scrolls and two for Scroll. This hasn't stopped the numerous other trademarks with those words within their trademark.
If you have a trademark you're expected to defend it or risk losing it so Bethseda have to put up some sort of fight over this even if Notch ends up with it.
While that may be true it is also why Android is shit for apps. As a user it's hard to say whether you can actually run it or not (and the market won't necessarily filter it out) and as a developer you have to cater to about 6 zillion configurations. It is a wonder anyone wants to develop for Android.

I hope it doesn't pass the house. That'll go a long way to ensuring tea party tards never get into congress again.
Because a lot of people rely on the US economy. If they weren't interested in selling loads of cheap tat to Americans the US probably would have been ignored by the rest of the world awhile ago.

1,000 texts is 'unlimited' for most people so they're removing the cheaper plan that goes ignored.

So what is named after a penis?

Then there would be a good case for me never touching Firefox again.

Not true everyone has been playing with your mom since 1985 and it's not getting old yet.

It certainly hasn't hurt them outside of the US where their patents are worthless.

The lose is due to a lack of new revenue so you can thank the tea party republicans
Microsoft has trademarked Windows on its own. http://www.microsoft.com/about/legal/en/us/IntellectualProperty/Trademarks/EN-US.aspx

You'll need to try harder, Ballmer.
Just because they can't patent something it has no value? That's a fucked up mentality.
Well, let's see these reports.
Perl and php, etc still serve html to people
