Those with rich parents will not NEED a tuition fee loan because their parents will pay their tuition for them. Those of use whose parents could not have afforded to do that will get stuck with the bill.

The problem with this system, at least in the United States, is that there is a huge grey area where a students parents make too much for him to get financial aid, but not enough for them to realistically put him through the school in question.

I use floppy's quite frequently, because the generation of lighting control desks before the current one all used them for storage.

It would not necessarily require modifying the binary, just opening it up in a debugger and viewing the encryption process. The binary could be left completely untouched and a server created to pass the clients authentication.

Are CPU and memory usage statistics even available in the current build of Chrome OS? I don't remember seeing them when I ran the version that was posted as a VMWare image.

I have been working on a windows mobile app in my spare time for the last year or so in C# and it has been a serious pain. I have really enjoyed all of what the Android API has to offer. I found it ridiculous that I had to implement my own view stack in windows mobile or see all of my views as separate windows on the device, Android handles this very well on its own.

  7. Different marketing strategy from Segway. on Honda's Answer To the Segway · · Score: 2, Interesting

Dean Kamen, the inventor of the Segway, had invented a wheelchair that was capable of climbing up stairs. The problem was, the wheelchair was too expensive to start to produce because of the small quantities of unique parts needed at first. So Kamen wanted to come up with something that A) was made from the same parts of the wheelchair and B) he could sell for a lot of money, thereby driving the price of the wheelchair down. That's how the Segway was born. People give Kamen a lot of crap for the lack of success of the Segway to revolutionize transportation, but that was never it's goal, it was just a high priced item to be sold to a niche market so that the price of a more useful humanitarian item could be driven down.
