There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable.
There is another theory which states that this has already happened. -- Douglas Adams, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
You misrepresent Dawkins. He's a scientist, so would explain - in detail - why radiation is bad for you, and why you shouldn't walk into the light.
The "true believers" would still walk into the light, because faith isn't about rational thought - it's about thumbing your nose at smart asses. (Thus proving Dawkin's point that religion is dangerous.)
They're shocked because their cunning plan to whip apothetic, gun toting Americans into a frenzy and to vote Republican at the next election has blown up in their face like a Saturday night special.
I'm also guessing he did it to draw attention to his "philosophy", hoping an event like that would make people read (watch) his stuff, and realize the truth of the "new currency", and "grammar"... (Notice the shear amount of crazy?).
So he's not a Teabagger, he's a Grammar Nazi?
Godwin fault: thread dumped.
Oracle DBAs demand a high price because they have to put up with this shit on a daily basis. Frankly, you couldn't pay me enough to deal with Oracle licensing - I'm all for migrating to PostgreSQL on Linux if it will scale and is stable enough.
I attended the InSync10 conference earlier this year. One of the presentations described - in colourful language - all of the ways that Oracle will "f**k you over" - if you let them. The only way to deal with Oracle is to fight back; migrating away from their products is one way to negotiate with the PFYs in sales (who apart from being under unrealistic quotas, probably view Larry as a god.)
And actually, these are very desirable genes, since they apparently also make you a world class football player, basketball player, soccer star, or golfer!
Yep - most likely fuel for a Gallium-68 generator, which is used as a positron source for calibrating PET scanners (article says "CT scanner" but meh, details - it's lost nucular stuff!)
I just don't agree that sound quality is that bad with on-board audio.
Yes, but what about silence quality? The onboard sound options I've tried over the last few years have all suffered from appalling noise levels. Installing even a basic but quiet sound card can make a big improvement in overall sound quality.
On the bright side, radiation levels in Australia have fallen since banana prices jumped to $18/kg. (Cyclones, floods, whatever.)
Courtesy of the D-Generation.
That's illogical.
Karma dude, karma.

... or they've been watching too much Deadwood. At a dollar a cuss, they could buy Japan a new power plant.
"Giving" = "gratuitous product placement."
At least put a sign in the window e.g. "Move along, nothing to see here", or a lifesize picture of Wally.
"You have won 2nd prize in a beauty contest - collect 4.37% market share".
Apparently the "fully sick Linux" was already taken.
Fixed that for you. Worst. Astroturf. Ever!

I think I have the wrong audio codec for this article - all I hear is "waaa".
Good idea - then we'll only have to dig half as far to get there.
I find your faith in 150 year old paper technology disturbing.

Or earn you a place on an Interpol wanted list.
In mafia state Russia, spammer kills you!
Unity is already deployed on Maverick Meercat notebook edition, so why not review it instead of a "preview"?
