    I don't know where you studied, but as far as I know, you create tiny rips in your muscles when you work out and new cells are grown to bridge the tear.

    You keep the receipt they give you when you return the modem. I've been screwed like that too, now I know better.

    It might be perfectly appropriate for one to post that somewhere else, and mostly I agree with it; but don't you think most slashdotters from America would rather use the metric system? I mean, you're posting this to an audience of geeks. Maybe should spend your time convincing/mocking somebody that needs/deserves it.

    The point of leaving the country is so that the client doesn't have to enter the US, where he would be put in jail. He's currently free, from what I've read.

    Naturally. I think, however, that the computer should be a hammer before the user makes it a midstorms kit. Apple (and to a lesser extent Winows) has this down. I don't see why Linux programmers don't.

    I think most people would still use the word "photoshop" in that case. Especially if they don't want to spend time explaining what the GIMP is. Not to mention all the strange looks you'd get.
