    That would be true for a traditional product launch. However, Apple has gone mainstream with the iPad, so they don't need the nerds.

    Or what about the "iWobble boobs" (or whatever it was called - and yep terrible juvenile name) which didn't supply content - you had to download and add your own content.

    You answered your own question. Apple does not want the iPhone brand to be associated with a new type of porn. The iPhone brand image is a clean Apple store, not a dark backroom with a sticky floor. It is their brand to protect.

    Pandora introduces me to new artists I like, whose music I do purchase. Pandora has directly resulted in increased spending on my part due to this.

    Did you miss the part in your quote that states "Except as provided in Sec. 172.102, Special Provision A101"?

    A101A primary (non-rechargeable) lithium battery or cell packed with equipment is forbidden for transport aboard a passenger carrying aircraft unless:

    a. The battery or cell complies with the requirements and limitations of 173.185(b)(1), (b)(2), (b)(3), (b)(4) and (b)(6) or 173.185(c)(1), (c)(2), (c)(3) and (c)(5) of this subchapter;

    b. The package contains no more than the number of lithium batteries or cells necessary to power the intended piece of equipment;

    c. The equipment and the battery or cell are packed in a strong packaging;

    d. The gross weight of the package does not exceed 5 kg. Packages complying with the requirements of this special provision are excepted from all other requirements of this subchapter.

    Funny, I have an HP Pavilion at work with the same processor running at the same speed and the same GPU as my MacBook Pro.

    The FSB is faster on the Pavilion than on the MacBook, yet the MacBook beats it in real world performance and benchmarks.

    This is true if I boot into OS X or Windows.

    Also, the Pavilion's build quality is horrible, and it has a bunch of flashy eye candy that looked dated a day later.

    The iTouch/iPhone has a different OS and file system. Why doesn't your computer appear as a USB mass storage device?

    The Android can painfully act like a USB mass storage device by unmounting the external SD card.

    The Android soution is prone to errors and corruption. That would not be in line with Apple's philosophy.

    Several short exposures don't capture more light than a single long exposure. In fact, they capture far less.

    The reasoning is that it is not in the public domain since it was never broadcast, and thus the copyright date will be the first time it is broadcast or "published" as the law says. Perhaps if you read TFA you would know that.

    The fact you think Jack Benny is suddenly going to be a ratings draw, and were scored insightful, says a lot about your insight and a few dingbats with mod points.

    I also like to notice if the lighting is any good, the acting is any good, the composition is any good, the sound is any good, the writing is any good, the story is any good.... The effects are just a component nerds focus on since the rest is beyond their limited scope of reference...
