Hulu is ad supported. Youtube is charging money. Hulu finds it profitable to discriminate because some regions bring them less ad revenue than others. Youtube on the other hand will profit equally from countries other than the US.
They don't hate cars, you exceedingly small prick, just the exceedingly small pricks that use them to break the law. Perhaps this is too difficult for a person with such an exceedingly small prick to understand.

From what I can see, it doesn't just look like a windows machine, (unlike most windows themes for ubuntu) the GUI behaves like windows too.
This would mean people who were earlier using Windows would be a bit more comfortable using ylmf's ubuntu rather than the regular one.
So leave the device open to modification. Use the mac address or imei or whatever else to restrict access to only book purchase sites. How hard could that be?
(No sarcasm/offense intended. My knowledge of ebook readers and 3g is rather limited)
Hell even the spell check in Firefox accepts it as legimit.
If you're going to be one of those annoying grammar nazi pricks, the least you could do is be right.
I have nothing to say/do here. The joke seems to have cracked itself this time around.
This move will ensure easier availability of their phone around the world, unlike the i-phone which needed to be jailbroken in countries where it wasn't officially launched.
Some of the Merc AMGs perhaps. They have insanely powerful engines on an otherwise useless car. I wouldn't be surprised if the brakes are crap.
If this is indeed the case, putting bigger brakes on the cars will just increase the cost of ownership for those of us who _can_ drive.

They keep locking it down. We keep opening it up. We wouldn't have this problem if all devices were "open" in the first place.

There is no "cyberwar". BusinessWeek is losing it.
Or maybe they just wanted to send /. into a tizzy.
Brown Chair Of Death. There! I coined it.
I believe it will react with the BSD.
Soon the l337 h4x0r d00d5 will have access to private details of every citizen of the UK.
Even if we did read and understand the privacy policy, would we disagree and not access the website/content?
What about ./ers and _their_ "mobility problems"?
Just a myth. We just don't want to leave the basement.
Clever. Clever. I notice how you say "the basement" suggesting there's a chance that said basement might actually belong to you.
