I'd be interested from hearing from an 'angel' investor, about what their batting average with startups is like. 1 in 6 may actually be above average odds in that game.
I'm pretty sure the main innovation by gaming companies is treating high-skilled, high-demand employees like crap, while still getting them to give you their money.
And that still doesn't answer my question, so I'll rephrase it:
What reasonable justification can be given for the same content, on the same servers, developed and distributed in exactly the same fashion for a worldwide market be marked up 50% purely on the basis on geographical location, when there are no extra costs involved with distributing it to that location?
Really?
We drive on the same side of the road as the US... but we do drive on the same side as the UK, Japan, and about 75 other countries... we're you planning on selling to any of them? Also, this is about IT, not automotive products, so your argument is irrelevant.
We use funny spelling? So what, most of the time, games from US studios don't have localisation for real english, and that's not even an issue unless you're playing with subtitles...
We don't use NTSC/ATSC... conceded... now explain why that matters to EA for PC gaming prices... I'm running on the same CPU, GPU and Monitor standards as the US. It's not like they're implementing the HCF instruction on Intel chips down under, so developing for PCs in Australia is no different from developing for most anywhere else.
Got any more bullshit arguments as to why you think a market of 22 million people should be fucked over, or are you done being a corporate apologist?
This problem is not limited to software... Look up what prestige cars cost in Australia, vs what they cost in the US.
Why do cars cost more here? The market can support it here, because there are enough idiots who don't question or aren't aware that they are paying so much more here than elsewhere.
Streisand effect in 5... 4...

Perhaps it has something to do with a vocal minority of atheists just being agnostics with anger management issues.
(joke) I will fucking cut you! (/joke)
Security cameras don't upload everything to the net, yet
FTFY
Are you sure they won't be deemed "Too Big To Fail"?

FTFY.
Banksy, is that you?
And this attitude is why people decide to target American civilians.
Get a really good security system, and expect to get broken into again real soon... the thieves know you now have nice shiny brand new stuff to steal.
Aren't the corporations mandated to do this?

Rouge? Nah, that's just sunburn, mate.
"Why is it called the eyePhone?"
Still waiting on the sonic screwdriver...
Get into management.
WiiU... For 14 year olds, by 14 years olds...
So how long until some clever guy with a cantenna gets a high-ranking government official in hot water from this law?
Worse? Or better?
Leave Whoopi alone!
I like this.
Yo Dawg, I heard you like androids, so I put an Android in your android...
Really? I've never had any issues with NVIDIA cards. Would be interested to know which brand of card, mobo and PSU you were using.
