That example is horribly irrelevant to this case. Drew didn't give her a rope and help her string herself up. She bullied her like every other kid has been bullied all over the world. most of which don't kill themselves.
Since there are less rich people then lower income people its a safe political move. Nobody in Washington actually cares what happens to us provided they stay in power.
what about us fathers:)
sad thing is they would only have about the time it would take me to get to the school to have those people behind bars. Not just for the sexual crimes they committed but for their own protection from me.
great post.
Having been a teamster for a couple of years, That pretty much sums up modern unions today. They would rather see a company fold and all their members out of a job then make a compromise. I've seen it and lived it first hand.
screw the unions.
I suppose I took your original comment as more of an attack on conservatives. Let my bad mood get the best of me. Reading your reply however I agree. And see people who don't live their principals as a huge problem. At least if you live them and I don't agree with them I can still respect that person, within reason.
Principle and practice are two different things. Your principal is a lie until you practice it. Go look around some liberal blogs, especially those in Cali and support Prop 8 and see how open they are to your views.
what does "right-wing" have to do with any content of this thread? Slashdot is one of the leftist websites I visit on a regular basis. Or do you just associate anything you don't like with "Right-Wing"?
I suppose it helps that I have learned to control my emotions very well over the years. Even when I'm angry most people would never know when talking to me.
As far as body language goes, I'm decent at reading it. I can usually tell when people are lying to me, or when somebody is genuinely excited about something instead of just telling me what I want to hear. Those nuances to me are very important, especially at work.
I for one would rather talk to somebody in person about something that may be confrontational. E-mail doesn't communicate emotions well at all, and body language can be very valuable in certain circumstances. So no e-mail isn't superior to the telephone or face to face conversation in all cases.
When i started to get agressive with them, is when they just simply hung up on me:).
my problem is I do a lot of interface with our client contacts so i've just grown used to being patient and calm on the phone. It sucks but oh well.
Vonage does that kind of crap too. I called in to cancel my service, it took over an hour of getting transferred around and each person had about 3 different sale pitches to toss at me. Putting me on hold for 10 minutes at a time, not to mention that none of them spoke well. when it was getting close to the 90 minute mark I started getting "upset" and ended up having to start the whole process over again after they hung up on me. Had they treated me diffrent I would probably end up being their customer again in the future.
And I thought I was the only person that still used cash primarily.
I hate credit cards, and I only use my debit card to get cash from the ATM machine (the furthest one away from my house)
I don't want my child to be an IT guy unless that's what he wants to be. I would love to see my child become enterprising and I want to encourage the entrepreneur within him. That way he Will have many more options and won't be as limited to certain fields or sectors.
actualy an even better idea would be to drop the idea all together.

With all the hub-bub about "man made global warming" why not counter it with man made nuclear winter.
if his entire popularity is truly reliant on being anti-bush then the American people are screwed.
the people in the house and senate deserve the worse we can give them.

although it may only take one bribe to cause massive damage to our way of life.
no they shouldn't they should be allowed to hire the best workers for the job.

Its a sad commentary that these scams even work at all. I had hoped that the average person had better common sense then that.
Sad thing is a large portion of my user base is stupid enough to reply to those messages.
Tried playing the first on the PC, could never get the controls down.

That depends.. Did he giggle during the execution?
