I think it's pretty obvious. Why use a whole 64 bits when to represent 4? You should probably just use three bits. 100. That's why machines today are so slow... All these wasted bits.
The (admittedly 'unproductive') pattern recognition and analytical processing involved in bejeweled is still more significant than watching commercials with NASCAR or sitcom breaks.
With Bejeweled you're using your brain for problem solving. With TV you're not doing anything. You're just sitting on the couch like a very warm potato.
There are a LOT of WoW players who average more than 2 hours a day. When I played I averaged 3 hours a day. This guy enjoyed bejeweled and came home and played Bejeweled after work. A lot of americans watch about that much TV per day and they're not even posting a high score.
Healthy? No. Worse than a typical high end raider in WoW? No. Worse than a typical American watching TV? No.
My assertion was not that the site is stealing information. It's that if a hacker breaks into the site and changes stuff it can be stealing information.
It doesn't seem like having users enter their credit card to check if it's been stolen is a good idea. All it takes is the site getting hacked and viola! Real stealing on every query!
Conservative Americas aren't cautious towards change, they want to change things too. Different changes than what I want.
They want to reduce federal power, diminish separation of church and state, overturn row vs wade, and go back to homosexual being a mental illness.
Well, there's some talk to Alice in Wonderland in the article. Alice in Wonderland is NOT in 3d. It's in semi-3d. So it leaves the experience somewhat lacking. How to Tame your Dragon. That's actually in 3d. Avatar, that's actually in 3d. Alice is the 'colorized' move of 3d.
It pisses me off too, because I am a very discriminating consumer. I have companies that are on my shit list because of something they've done. It's actually at the point where I don't buy half the items in the grocery store for moral reasons (Juicy Juice is off my shopping list because Nestle consumes human slavery and pretends it's not their fault).
If other people would pick a few companies a year to abstain from purchasing from for moral reasons, I would have a better world. Lazy fucks. : (
Last I checked Google Wave wanted me to get an invite... So I gave up trying to use it.

5-10 year patents on physical gizmos might be okay. But the patent application process needs to not be willy nilly approval.

And even when people share the love of the IPU, they sometimes claim she eats meat on her pizza! Can you imagine the horror!
Reality shows aren't art because they're not a creative expression. They're tacked together histrionic drama.

Running Virtual Machines on the iPhone isn't allowed...
I'm rooting for Adobe because I don't like Apple's anti-competitive behavior.
Sounds more like Mafia to me.

Have you played with Inkscape? If not, check it out. If yes, shucks.
It's also standard for them to abstain for accepting responsibility for flash bugs. : /
Africa. Seriously, it's happening a lot over there.

IMO In the Evil Pagent: Ubisoft is still winning. EA is 2nd. Activision is 3rd.
