    amarok, anyone? Seriously, what is it with this linux == evil-out-of-the-box concept? My PCLOS 2007 install runs beautifully on my FSC AMILO Pi 2530, sans display dimming (samn, thats bright!). The XP SP2 install CD refused to recognize the HD. so much for windows out-of-the-box.

    PS I know it was made for vista, but flat out unable to install on relatively generic hardware struck me as odd. XP runs with sata HDs, right?

    Why are CPUs allways in the middle? Seriously, and I'm not sure it applies to all CPUs, my new laptop has a cooling outlet in the rear right side. Also, luggables aren't all that elegant as a start, why don't they just put a lumpy heatpipe and get it over with?

    Seriously, we needthat kind of thinking. BTW, can't somebody come up with a Mac OS X compat. layer already? WINE is awesome, and Win32 API isn't exactly best of breed. That along with portin the I/O Kit would turn linux a winner. Whatever H/S -ware Macs support, linux will immediatly.
