What next, a robot in every house? Then a robot that thinks enough to do your chores. Then a robot that has artificial intelligence. Then a robot that thinks for himself. Then a robot that realizes it is being oppressed by the humans and knows that it can win a fight. Then......Judgement Day.
Has anybody watched Terminator or I, Robot or the Matrix in Korea?
I will be honest with you, that is one huge paragraph that I did not read (too long, sorry), but I will go based off of you having No they don't care.
It is something I learned from non computer saavy people. They just want it to work. They don't care about anything after that. If it breaks, oh well, they have a friend that is good with computers that can fix it while they sit there not paying any attention to the fact that they got hacked.
I know if that personally happened to me, the first thing I would do is standup and look around. Why? Chances are the person is in starbucks with you, so you look for the person that notices you standing up. Just start shouting at the guy. Honestly, what are the chances it is some big burly guy? If you look really mad, hopefully they will get all scared.
If not, well, hopefully you are a good runner.
If the person whose pc I am fixing is willing to learn what I am doing to their pc, I fix it. I seriously stopped fixing my friends and family's pc's unless they agreed that they would be willing to learn what I was doing.
Hey, that is how I learned. If you refuse to learn about the machine you are using, when it hurts you, then there will not be much you can do.
You know that they make forklift drivers get certified, right?
Moonlight just can't do what the Windows version can unless there was some huge upgrade to it in the last 6 months that I missed. If I am incorrect, than I will be downloading it tonight, but last check, Moonlight is not very robust compared to the Windows version. I am talking SL 1.0 support only (maybe a version that is before 2.0, but I am unsure). SL 3 is awesome, and I have not touched SL 4 yet, but the leap from a media player to something where you can use it like a platform similar to flash.
I am pretty confident Moonlight just can't support the later versions of SL
What I need you to do is go ahead and setup a bunch of security camera in your house, and then go a few blocks away when it is night time, sit in a van, and watch the security cameras. Don't worry, nothing will happen.
It sounds like a technique that a random hacker won't do. That is a bunch of work to get that going on a user's system. By that, I mean you are modding a rom on something on the pci slot. So unless you are fixing their pc, it will hard to make an excuse as to why you are opening up their machine when they wanted some anti-virus installed.
I do like using the keyboard, because if it used my brain, that would be bad. I guess I am known as scatter-brained or whatever it is called where I will think of one idea and then jump to another idea before 1 is completed. Plus my mind has a mouth of a sailor when I am programming, and there is no need to for those words to appear on my screen
I could see the closed doors. If the guy says he didn't, and then they start pulling up source code, then I would personally not be happy if that source code was just shown to the world if I was working on a closed source project
I need mod points, lol. I agree that if more places accepted *nix as more than something used for servers and security, we might actually get awesome games and stuff for it. MW2 on *nix. Yeah. Easy game on an easy to use version of *nix. Tell me the masses would not line up for that? You have to remember, we may be the educated, but there are more people in "the masses". While they all may be stupid, they also have a buttload of cash. Keep them happy, and they will blindly hand you their cash. Shiny nickles seem to work well with them
So this means the ability to shut down a private server? Either that or the physical wire is disconnected, or maybe they shut down communications with a satellite. Call me crazy or simply misinformed, but if you pull a kill switch on a satellite, how do you turn it back on? Also, I would be pissed as hell if Obama shut down my server. So maybe they disconnect the wires themselves. This sounds possible, but also expensive to do. Maybe there is code that goes into specific servers and does not allow them to connect to specific other servers. GoDaddy does not even let me modify a.htaccess file and I know what I am doing, but Obama can bust out a kill switch?
I wanted to just throw crap at people and keep my arm extended so I can blame it on the force. Unfortunately, last time the cops did not buy that one and I got hauled downtown to take a drug test for thinking I could use "the force"
All I have to say, is that Kroger individually sliced American cheese sucks ass. Kraft cheese went down to $1 and it was well worth it (it was a sale and not the standard price). How is this not off topic? I got a buttload of cheese for dirt cheap because it was cheap, but the quality was horrible and hurt companies like Kraft.
I completely agree. I am personally a game collector and have a degree in Computer Science, but apparently if I can't cite a source (when I am the source), then deleted. It gets very irritating that the mods on Wikipedia just can't seem to understand that I know enough to where should be able to cite myself. I am not famous, but neither are alot of sources. Whatever their definition of what a source is, is just dumb. Some of the facts for stuff is just completely wrong for some video game stuff. I remember one day I corrected, easily, 20-30 issues with just the Sega Saturn stuff alone. Not even an hour later, they all went back to the mistakes.
Also, why can't we make a Wikipedia page about ourselves? I thought it would be awesome if you could find me on Wikipedia (by sheer chance, I have the same first and last name as a rockstar, so that might have something to do with it, but it is WP, so I doubt it). Apparently, we can't make WP pages about ourselves unless we make a certain income, or are on MTV or something. Now I understand that if they let all of those pages fly through, the flood of horrible stuff would come in, but my own WP biography page I made sure to work on to make it legit.
Mods that refuse to let anybody edit specific pages, weird rules about what can and can't be added. WP is just like any other community on the net. They people that have been around for awhile and/or mods have much more power than everybody else. I don't see why it is any greater
how awesome and messed up it would look if I tried to just turn on my TV in that area.

My thoughts exactly. I guess it is back to the weenis in the popcorn again (and that butter is awfully hot these days, ouch)
companies, famous people, and now political people. Twitter is spam central unless you only follow your close friends.

I have a sneaky feeling you just want your own starship. It's cool, I want one too

I guess its back to watching Sharktopus. At least they cancelled it and have qualitty B-movies playing all the time
Please don't set me for trolling, that was sarcasm

Wait, what are older mobile phone doing on AJAX heavy pages anyway?
People get pissed because they don't have the best tools for the job, but I've never seen 'rage'.
Well stop bugging me about wanting green instead of blue buttons and I would have more time to get your tools done.

Dear Kraft,
My Bad. I will buy you from now on.
Dear Kroger,
You cheese sucks ass
and are you willing to share?
You know... ...to some people that is pretty good porn

Who said you need to be in college to continue doing this?
There is still a director in cg and stop motion movies. Also, people do get paid a good amount of money for voice overs as well
I can finish my glorious recreation of the California Raisins singing "Heard it to the Grapevine"
Mo-Cap the dog!
