There is nothing more frustrating than getting 3/4 of the way through a football game and having the other person quit because they were losing.
Happens constantly when playing StarCraft on Battle.Net. Reason I quit playing the game. There is a LAN group in my area that gets together often enough to fill my quota for CounterStrike without having to play against the Internet Cheaters.
A tri-chip is quite expensive. I'd look for a single chip DLP with the new 12 degree mirrors and a color wheel speed of 3x or a color wheel with RGBRGB sections.
I've an Infocus X1 with a 2x RGBW wheel and have never had a headache but on occasion do see rainbows, maybe two or three a movie if I pay attention to them. More often than not I'm busy watching the movie on my 101" screen
We use the Polycom products for providing Interactive TV (ITV) courses to the local school district. The schools use this to allow a class to be offered in another district if needed. We were using a Via (not VIA) product that Lucent discontinued after they bought Via. The Polycom products are very nice in that you can do IP or use leased line to make the calls and vary the channel bandwidth.
Lots of information on video teleconfrence can be found out by searching for ITV.
winex converts DirectX to opengl on the fly to do that at any reasonable speed you need a fast cpu, in reality 500 MHz isn't fast enough to run most modern games under winex
A 500Mhz processor is fast enough to run most modern games under WINDOWS either.
The old personal responsibility arguement again, eh? Sorry, that won't work anymore. Haven't you heard, personal responsibility isn't in fashion anymore. Government has to tell us what to do and when to do it, otherwise how would we know they are spending our money right?
Don't force your antiquated views on me. I'm not responsible for my actions. It's always someonelses fault!

That and Hitler was a fool. He ordered that the ME-262 be built as a Bomber, instead of a fighter. Something like a year after they were struggling to convince him that they needed the 262 as a fighter instead did he finally see it as a fighter plane instead of a bomber.
They were most vulnerable on takeoff and landing, and a majority of our shoot downs were in those moments, as it had no manuverability at low speed.
Lots of research on this plane, building a speed-400 powered electric RC model from Remote Control Airplane News.

Great Hitchhikers reference. I'm suprised no one commented on this yet.
Gale Norton is the Secretary of the Department of the Interior.
The EPA Administrator is Christine Todd Whitman, past Governor of New Jersey.
Where did you get all that information about Norton pushing ANWR and such? At best, Norton would have influence on the rights of Native American tribes to ANWR through the BEA. (Bureau Indian Affairs)
"You could argue you that intent of the chip is for piracy 99% of the time, but the intent of a hangun is killing 100% of the time, so that doesn't pan out."
How very untrue. I've multiple handguns, rifles and shotguns that have never fired on living things.
I bought my Ruger 10-22 for competitive target shooting. I picked up my Winchester 16 gauge for my wife to skeet shoot with. I have a.45 for shooting bowling pins. I've a few handguns that I only have because they remind me of my grandfather I could go on about the shotguns for trap, rifles for long and short range target, or the smokepoll for civil war reenactments.
The only gun I purchased for "killing" is a Winchester.308 Stealth for deer hunting and I feed my family with that.
Sell off the monitors and use a KVM or two. Bundle the cables together as much as possible. Little ones love to pull on things to stand up, not a good idea to make cables available to them.
Your pediatrician (sp?) should be able to direct you to some "Baby and Me" type of events in your local area. Some may be "churchy" and some may be "hippy touchy feeliy" you just have to pick one that suits your tastes.
As to keeping your sanity, make a pact with the SO to allow each of you to take 30 minutes where one watches the baby and the other can just unwined. You have to remember that it is stressfull for both parties, and women can get extra "interesting" from the hormone inbalance. Post partum depression is not uncommon.
Problem is, it wasn't funny. No chuckle; no "HA"; not even a smile.
I did feel sorry for the guy though. Usually when a comic bombs like that, there is always a chance to follow it up with something funny. This guy's stuck with the rep of "not being funny" until the next time he get's something posted.
"Gollum is a warped creature; and maybe Serkis believes, in creating the character for screen, that somewhere, deep down, Gollum knows knows what the ring has cost him and regrets it."
It is said plainly many times that Gollum both loves and hates the ring, both in the books and the movie adaptation. Perhaps Serkis is playing to that more to the surface to give the character a little more depth.
I always wondered if Gollum was playing the hobbits for a chance to take the ring, or if he was actually trying to help Frodo and thought he was betrayed by Frodo. Serkis and Jackson seem to think the latter, I always thought the former.

That should read "...is NOT fast enough..." Honestly, there needs to be an "edit" option.

Especially when disk 16 has errors and the whole install fails? Oh, how I miss those days.
