Sorry, but the government can nullify a contract if it is illegal, and in this case it is. The contracted employees fit the IRS' description of full-time employees and deserve the proper benefits.
That's why (according to Google) the ACLU has approximately 14,000 pages on their site containing the words "patriot act". Apparently they want to make it clear that they agree with most of it.
You still need to find a lawyer that doesn't mind getting disbarred.
Back to the real point, a few states have laws preventing this type (SLAPP) of behavior. Really, have a little faith in our legal system -- the judges can see these cases for what they are.
Only counties using electronic voting machines showed the increase. Are you claiming that electronic voting machines increase the effect of Bush's post-hurricane visits?
The hydrogen at this station is contained in a dual wall stainless steel pressure vessel (which is then contained in a fiberglass shell). If anything breaches the first cylinder it is vented to the atmosphere via a specially designed vent.
Assuredly there are numerous valves designed to shut things down if any rapid pressure changes are encountered... it's just such a non-issue.
I can think of a few people that would disagree with you, notably the "founding fathers" that set up the electoral system which was directly intended to avoid this "rock the vote" crap.
This is not at all infeasible and is done quite frequently. It's not very economical though as the power company will only pay back at wholesale rates.
Yes, the power man would be in for a shock if the loads weren't properly handled. The power company will require that a cut-off switch (to cut output when the power goes out) be installed for any grid-tie setups.
A cheapo ($10) servo is capable of turning 60 degrees in.2 seconds with around 40 oz/in of torque. Fancier ones will have double the torque at about the same speed.
Where Firefly is "gritty western" style, Bebop is "gritty urban" style. The grittiness is about the only similarity, but the characters of both series do have about equal depth, if you want to mark that as a similarity.
That is fucking arrogant. I was replying to the comment that suggested that it seemed "obvious" that power from a slow speed river could be harnessed by simply gearing up the system. What he's going to end up with is a bunch of water that just flows around his paddles because he'll never be able to tune his belts and gears well enough to overcome the friction in them.
Without any head he's going to find it really difficult to get any power from that river, and whenever your brain is able to advance about 100 years you might finally realize that as well.
An incredibly naive conclusion.

Configure your firewall to reject traffic with internal addresses on your external interface.

Duh.
Does the cron daemon support usernames over ~14 characters yet?

Exactly. There's a lot of math in properly sizing pipes or when pumps are added to the picture (flow rates, loss through pipes, lift, etc.).
Trial and error probably works too, but I'm sure it's much more expensive.

Finding flaws in a master's work is strangely satisfying.

Most PEM electrolyzers are around 55% efficient; more exotic designs reach over 70% efficiency.
If I take the power from your wind turbine and use it to run my TV, what happens?
Oh yeah... heat.
Next time, don't talk to the police. Say NOTHING except that you want to speak to your lawyer.
- landing into a creator in the sand was a very tolerable worst-case situation.
Strange. You'd think the creator would be much more upset.A cheapo ($10) servo is capable of turning 60 degrees in .2 seconds with around 40 oz/in of torque. Fancier ones will have double the torque at about the same speed.
Should be fast enough.
Screw that. Aftab might sit on you (or eat you, or both if she's hungry for pancakes).
It's just a lot harder to find the one option hidden amongst the duplicates of others.
Some day your management will realize that the expensive servers they're buying really aren't worth that much. It shouldn't take that long to realize that you're paying too much for what has now become commodity hardware.

If you liked one you'll like the other.
E450 doesn't *require* 240V.
But yeah, I kinda doubt he installed 2 gauge copper myself.
The idea is, when SCO has to start paying other's legal fees, there will be no money left.
Wrong. Check the case law. The use of a patented item can be subject to a license that states how the item may be used.

Any sort of gearing or belt system robs power from your generator. Direct-drive whenever possible.
