    one of THE BEST applications.

    I've been using this for a bit under a year now. I have to linux boxes, monitors side by side, and it works beautifully.

    I also run it on my laptop, and when I plug my network into the laptop. suddenly it becomes a third device.

    For the occasion that I need to reboot into windows and play some games, synergy also works there!

    I just can't say enough good things about this program.

    I keep a bookmarks folder called To File. Every month or so I dump the whole thing to a Bookmarks page on my wiki.

    It's easy to edit, as well as easily accessible.

    I currently live in Maryland and work for a company in NY.

    Tax wise I reside in Maryland and pay taxes here. My company withholds Maryland Income Tax for me automatically so if there's anything complicated, they handle it on their end, but as far as I know, you always pay income tax based on where you reside.

    I always thought a wiki would be a great implementation of this.

    I would link mine, but I don't want to hurt my poor dsl line. However I always found this link useful for info on what a wiki is.

    Basically it is an anonymous / identified community (however the user chooses usually) that allows usually all, sometimes most, pages to be edited by anyone else. Quite fun. Peer review is an explanation of why people don't screw the whole thing up. Also all documents can be rolled back.

    I suggest people better understand the sources for others frustration before being so quick and naive to judge.

    This is exactly what I'm Screaming. This seems to completely parallel the Napster case. But in the Napster case, the courts are finding the product responsible. Sun's claiming it's the user is responsible. Let's hope the court's are as strict to big companies as to smaller ones. hmmfff... doubtful

    Why can't we just let the doj handle this?

    Do people find it necessary to complain just for the sake of complaining? This is just an attempt not to punish Microsoft, but to get a few people money and a big name for some hot shot lawyers.

    That seems odd.

    Besides, this is what I want to know. Who's to say that the Carnivore the Feds hand over for testing etc... is the same model / version / sames software / that they use. We all know how easy it is to change a couple pieces of code. The code that's reviewed is certainly not set in stone.

    Ok So maybe I'm not always right, but I DON'T hide behind AC. I take pride in my mistakes. If I didn't make them, I wouldn't learn. And I work for an NT hosting company, I have 50+ hour a week experience with BS microsoft puts into their software. I know what's there that's no good. I run linux at home and have a very secure network that has thwarted the numerous cracking attempts it's been met with... thank you very much.

    This is quite interesting in my opinion. I've often wondered the same thing.

    Although it may be disagreeable to side with faulty software manufacturers <co>microsoft<ugh> it is possible that if buffer overflows were cut off at the hardware level, we wouldn't have to worry about the idiots writing bad code.
