    There are several problems with your sig:

    1. 'Nearly a million monkeys' != 'an infinite number of monkeys' (although it apears that the original version had only one monkey)
    2. The Infinite monkey theorem supposes that the monkey(s) are typing randomly, which Slashdot most certainly does not. Slashdot is wholely devoted to the honorable practice of MS-bashing (something Shakepeare did not do very often).

    It is as stable as Debian but much more polished.
    (To the point that I switched to Debian when I realized my learning was hampered by Ubuntu's ease-of-use)

    Better leather does exactly what for you?
    And what does 'better fit' mean? As long as it's the right foot size...
    Now workmanship I can understand, but since I am not a competent judge of that, the $20 shoes might be just as good as the $80 shoes.

    Speaking as a person that buys $20 shoes and wears them until people start mistaking them for sandals.

    $129 for a single license ($199 for a family pack)

    Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium Edition:
    239.99 for a single license.

    Microsoft Windows XP Pro:
    $199 for a single licence.

    and, of course,
    Debian GNU/Linux
    $0, unlimited installs.

    Stick OS X on a Psystar or Hackintosh, and it is cheaper. Or, if you go with a Mac Pro, the price is competitive with as-powerful hardware.

    I think that would require people to actually know what the hell the HTML5 standard is and what its video tag would be.

    No, you just need the website authors and the browser authors (IE, I'm looking at you). And those are the people one would hope are already aware of HTML 5 (Especially considering that MS, Mozilla, Opera Software, and Apple are all members of W3C).

    I don't see how. But in this case I really apreciate it not using that bent corner where the wifi card is located while still somehow connecting to wifi.
