Everytime they mention 4K and i see 3840 it makes me itch... some clever folks at the display producing companies are just like the ones in the HDD business making up the term gibibyte. (and yes, I know 3840 is 2x1920, but still..)
"It can also recognize faces and remain unlocked when it sees a trusted face."
I would choose that 2 seconds entering my pass over facial recognition anytime.
Those notebooks were not meant to produce that performance, it may be capable, but:
- NVidia does not want to deal with fried GPUs, to decide/prove if it was because of the overclocking or some manufacturing problems
- Suffer the negative PR on the market if too many of their systems seem to die ahead of time or suffer from heat/related issues..
Apart from some rare exceptions notebooks were never meant to be in the same performance category as desktop configurations, this should be taken into consideration this when buying one.
I do not want to synchronize anything with any server which might or might not make it for some years until it is shut down. This is DRM nothing more.
I bought this game to play on my own not bothered by any other player...
Kickstarter should be able to penalize companies which are not willing to fulfill their promises.
..to salvage anything they can.
Science has been going forward in the last few thousand years, while chatolics (and basicly all religions) stood still.
Magic is fading, so they have to make small tweaks to look at least a bit credible.

Homing missiles are fired by a person. We are talking about machines here which can have only a vague order like "protect this facility" or "advance to this point" and during the execution of these commands they can identify encountered people as hostile based on some criterias and can "decide" to eliminate them.
That does not even come close to a homing missile.
Just make it stop.
I go to G-Mail to send mails,
I go to Youtube to watch videos.
If I wanted to socialize, I would have gone to Twitter/SnapChat/Facebook/MySpace (is there still such a thing?)/SecondLife...
Google was famous for it's tools being simple, powerful and not forcing anything on the user. Good old days, eh?
As long as the h4ckZ0rs only switch my channel from NatGeo to CNN I do not really care much, but I bet they will be after things like credentials of people buying stuff on shopping channels.
Back in the old days Amiga, C=64, ZX81, etc. names meant something.. just let them die peacefully, do not tread on their graves by naming a plain today's PC as one of those.
It's kinda like a war, isn't it? Oh wait.. that is affordable and sustainable. /sarcarsm
As was DDT.. I love when they just make a new material and say it is safe. We'll see.. we'll see.
We are not in Kansas anymore.

How do we know how many bitcoins are lost exactly?
Did it turn into a groud-to-air missile and blew the whole plane into bits and pieces?

AP Headline: "Cuban youth build secret computer network despite Wi-Fi ban "
More accurate? It has been said they do not wish to keep it secret...
I see your point and will most probably play the game either way but I would prefer simply having it "offline" by default than hoping for the best.

I thought they are the ones contemplating on leaving the EU... or is it just "let's mess things up before we shut the door"?

He said he even felt something strange during the flight and checked the video after touching the ground.
How come it made into the news now but not at that time?
