    The error is, that they assume there would be such a thing as 100% altruistic people who could ignore their own interests in favor of the general public. To put them in charge. Basically as a medium. A channel for the interests of the people. Of course that is just a pretty dream, as there is no such thing in reality.

    Which is why, if you buy from e.g. Denmark, you should order from one of the smaller UK book stores so you get to pay the UK VAT (0% on books) instead of the Danish one (25% on everything).

    Yep, but if ANYONE don't want to develop for mac, then it wont get made.

    If it happened on the windows version someone would step up because there are a lot of coders in their midst (few people are coders, but there are a lot of people).

    If it happened on the Linux version someone would step up because there are a lot of coders in their midst (there are few people, but quite a few of them are coders).

    If it happens on the Mac-version noone steps up because they're all graphic designers, artists or students (turtlenecks all the way down).

    You are seriously underestimating the scale of the windows ecosystem. You currently have thousands of application in your primary ecosystem. Imagine hundreds of millions of them. Thats right. Hundreds of millions.

    You are kidding, right? That screensaver runs as root, and could have pulled who-knows-what from the web and installed it wherever it likes.

    You don't see what the fuss is all about because when it's working right, you as an end-user don't really know it's there at all.

    That's not what he said. He said they still have problems. AD is not a magic wand, it's trading in one kind of problems for another kind of problems, problems that an on-site supporter rarely have the permissions to fix.

    The scientist raise a valid issue. This meat is from a artificial "muscle" that has never received any kind of exercise or strengthened itself. That is why it's not as steak, but I think it also affects taste of the meat too.

    Don't worry it'll never fly, the target audience will consider eating it a kind of cannibalism.
