    ftp over ssl can do virtual users. (as opposed to sftp, which is ftp over ssh)

    in south florida, during rush hour, I drive the opposite way of the rush and often see the majority of traffic (going my way) passing me by at +30.

    True Image Server: $699.
    True Image Enterprise: more, but worth it.

    The exploit for WoW that takes advantage of the sony rootkit does *NOT* allow you to play for free. it is a 'bot' that plays your character automatically. The rootkit part is how it hides from WoW's active scanning of running processes.

    good? their minidisc stuff was terrible. Their computers are gimmicky. memory stick was just a year early of every other freaking memory card onthe planet. ATRAC3? yeah ok, that's trash. the last time they did anything truly useful was the walkman.

    most .k12.fl.us censor websites such as 2600.

    in the one I almost ended up administering, they have a giant county-wide 10.x.x.x, with each school receiving a portion depending on its number of computers. from there, to access the internet, you hit an IIS machine, which is connected to the district's IIS machines. Those, in turn, have filtering software installed that does all the blocking.

    I was able to bypass this with corkscrew and ssh tunneling, but that's not much of a bypass, sort of a sidestep.

    despite having experienced exactly what you're discussing, I would prefer to have a 1.0 focus on API completeness rather than application compatibility.

    Application compatibility is a neverending target, however, API completeness is a solid and realistic goal.
