So because I cannot take public transportation, I shouldn't be allowed to view, in person, an international sporting event? Sounds discriminatory to me.
What was the percentage of buildings and land the Palestinians owned, versus the percentage of land the Turks of the Ottoman Empire owned? Because, what if the Turks owned like 85% of the land? They were forced to give it up after WWI... but that still doesn't make it the Palestinians' any more than if my theoretical landlord sells my building to someone else. And, arguably, the Palestinians already have a country... called Jordan. After all, it's the same ethnic group, just on the other side of the Jordan River (hence Trans-jordan to Jordan).
But if televangelists and pedo priests aren't Christian (you need to follow Christ to be a Christian), how can they be in the same boat as climatologists who are scamming folks? After all, isn't a climatologist a climatologist?
>>Why get a more limited program when the more advanced programs costs the exact same amount to copy?
Because it does not take the same amount of time to develop, and that is what you're paying for, correct? Why do we get so incensed when people violate the GPL/BSD/Apache/whatever licenses but we have no problem when people violate commercial licenses, despite the fact they all use the same copyright laws?
I'd argue that Adolph Hitler had a lot to do with freeing India from British rule. His six years of war weakened the British too much to be able to put up a fight even against the unarmed Indians. If King Douche (Deutsch?) had never come to power and Britain was as strong as she was in the 1920s, do you really think the UK wouldn't have been able to crush the Indian rebellion in an instant? The Brits would have been wrong to do so, but who'd have stopped them?
Not saying Gandhi wasn't a great man (he was, and deserves the overwhelming majority of the credit given to him), but didn't he also have a quote about how history would look at the British disarming the Indians as one of the blackest things they'd ever done?
Right, but once the gov't starts screwing you over, it cannot be stopped. Don't want a corporation to screw you over? Stop giving them money. The feds send people to your house with guns when you stop giving them money.
BTW, what makes you think everyone has public water?
Oh, I don't drive on an express way for work, this was to go to my GF's house about 2:30 away... so I'd save quite a bit of time.
Especially with the MA state police riding my (butt) because I wasn't going fast enough.
Besides, the more exhaust a turbo receive, the more oxygen gets pumped in, which leads to more power... isn't that the whole point? Most of my friends get less MPG with cars that have noticeably less HP
Do your accurate, reliable and verifiable studies use naturally aspirated engines, supercharged ones, or turbos? Standard, automatic, or CVT? If you have a link (so we're talking about the same study) I really would like to read it. Good info is good info, right?
Nah, someone with big pockets will fight them.
Palestine, as a state, does exist... it's called Jordan.
If lies are illegal, then Canada doesn't have free speech. Is this the case?

Because not everyone can take public transportation? I, for one, get motion sick in elevators and spiral staircases.

They'll just pain the whole screen black.
People always seem to forget about the most limited resource of all: time.

And yet they have Arab members of the Knesset. How many Jews are in the legislative body in other Middle Eastern countries?
How does one ride a bicycle in a nor'easter or blizzard? Or well-below-freezing temperatures?
You are my new Slashdot hero! How many times do you have to correct people that say the Constitution grants rights, too?
Why should it be illegal if there's nothing preventing the rest of us from doing the same thing?

Yep, I absolutely agree!
So what you're saying is you don't like the First Amendment? Bold speech on Slashdot ;-)
I see a lot of "if"s about corporations, but the government already does that stuff NOW.

Well, democracy has always been two wolves and a sheep voting on what's for dinner.
Canada wasn't a country in 1814... so how could they burn down the White House?

Driving slower doesn't always mean better fuel economy. Turbos, for example... my car seems to get the same MPG at 50 as it does at 75...
Like all men are potential rapists? Or all women are potential hookers?
Well, NH has much less strict gun laws than MA, and we have a much lower murder rate. So I don't think strict gun laws are the issue.
