    It'd also be interesting to compare individual states' crime rates with countries in Europe. After all, what's legal in my state (NH) is not always legal in Massachusetts. And our crime rate is so much lower than their's it's funny.

    This has been beaten to death, but what is the correct name for a citizen of the US? In every dictionary I've ever read, it's American. Like the name for a citizen of Canada is a Canadian (just like ya said).

    Really, I do want to know the answer.

    No, RI isn't worth squat. I should know, I live in NH. If we didn't have the early primary, we'd be useless, too ;-) Besides, would the colonies and their supporters have had a majority in Parliament?

    I thought you said you didn't know what they did in WWII? If you don't know what the US did in the biggest war in human history, how can you say the military doesn't protect US freedoms?
