    ... i have noticed an interesting thing, all my white/Asian friends love facebook, but all my black friends are still really in to myspace!

    ive never worked out why this social networking divide exists. any one got a theory?

    mm to be honest i found that this is one area that open source really cant keep up with. Quanta is by far the best open one out there but it lacks a lot when placed next to dreamwaver. i still use MX

    a friend of mine had one of the first round of "vista ready" laptops, and hers really wasn't.

    512 ram, and some shitty cpu. it ran WAY to slow, you could start word and go make a cup of tea and it would have just loaded.

    any way when i suggested turning off aero and few other visual effects it was like the end of the world. "why would i want it if it looked like that" was all she could say

    6 month later she borght a new laptop...

    she was willing to pay another $1200 to make areo work.

    never underestimate "ooh shiny"

    god thats crazy, i live in a small town in Australia about 250km's from the nearest major city, small being aout 3000 people, and i can pick from around 8 ADSL options (no adsl 2 here). i cant see how it is possible to live in a big city like NY and have so few options. how is it possible. the U.S. is a very different place to Australia.
