There was this mission where I had to kill some guy in a restaurant, and I tried to find a back door so I could get to him easier. There was a ladder leading up to a door in the back, and I could climb on the building's roof and reach a balcony, but the only possible way of entering the building was through the front door and all the guards. Likewise, there was an assassination mission taking place in an enormous and complex industrial area where the only possible approach was to go through a pre-defined route. I frequently found myself banging my head against a pre-scripted wall in GTA4.

A modern adventure game need not be 2D. You could easily do an adventure game in 3D with mostly static camera angles that would essentially be like an interactive film. Of course, nobody's ever going to do anything like that.

MMOs are completely different. There are hundreds and hundreds of boring, identical quests which only exist to give you experience, reputation, money and items. Eventually you just want to complete them as fast as possible.

In GTA4 there's a mission where you have to assassinate a person in his apartment by sniping him from a rooftop. However, you can't see him through the window. The solution is to zoom in on his answering machine, look up his number and dial it with your cell phone. When he answers the phone you shoot him.

This would be a pretty clever problem if you weren't told exactly how to solve it.

pointing out differences between the races is a self-defeating game if the idea is to focus on intelligence. simply because it is unintelligent to focus on racial differences in intelligence

So science should not be done if it reaches conclusions that are politically incorrect?

the only thing that can be deduced from examining the mental differences between the races is that we need to start a eugenics program to rid the human race of the genes of people who spend their time examining the mental differences between the races ;-P

So in other words, let's just kill anyone who questions lefist-liberal dogma.

Where did he say anything about correcting an unfair imbalance?

Its sad, so many people have gotten used to having unfair advantage, they consider it their birthright. White males tend to be the worst whiners.

Replace "white" with "black" and you would be modded -1 Troll in a blink of an eye. Which is interesting because I thought black people are oppressed to the point where they're on the verge of being shipped off to gas chambers. That's what conventional liberal wisdom says at least. Anyway, white males are actually starting to get the short end of the stick in the Western world, and they're also quickly becoming a minority. Political correctness and feminism are out of control.

Absolutely refraining from killing creates moral paradoxes. Sometimes there are situations where you have to kill people to prevent something bad from happening. If you simply sit by and let it happen, how are you being a good Christian? Pacifism only works in a fantasy world, unless you seriously don't give a shit about anyone or anything.

My limited reading of the bible showed that apostles and others told Jesus that his stance was naive and suicidal, but he stuck to it nevertheless.

I recall Jesus telling his disciples to carry swords. And anyway, he was Jesus, not Joe Random. Just because he did something doesn't mean you should blindly do the same in every imaginable situation.

So where does current christianity get the authority to overrule him?
