    That the study was conducted at the behest of Taser International on a handful of sheep who were anesthetized (which at the very least meant that stress levels were far lower than those of conscious subjects ) gives me no cause for suspicion at all.

    What's "Ill lit" about that picture? It is nicely lit from both sides, leaving a dramatic dark space so the flame of the lighter will show up nicely even against the white of the shirt. The stylist has done an excellent job of making the model who has only ever broken a sweat in the gym look grimy without sacrificing glamour.

    It is a beautiful stock photo, and a well-crafted piece of commercial art.

    I think the model can be very simple (basically multiply some probabilities). Asking the right questions and getting accurate data is the hard part.

    It's very easy to end up with a GIGO situation.
