    I never liked the physics or gameplay of QW. It always felt like something was missing and the gameplay was never as smooth. In netquake you could watch a play run or see a rocket being fired but in QW everything was jumpy and updated too quickly. A better example is the difference between UT and UT2K3. I love UT but UT2K3 feels like quake3 all over again *sigh*

    Why can you buy used panties out of a vending machine in japan? Why is anime so popular? They love gadgets like this and pump tons of money into developing them. Personally I couldn't ever use a PDA or one that plays videos for that matter. Yeah watching anime on a 400x400 pixel screen sure is great.

    Not sure how the bank will like you typing your signature or even the value. Handwriting is becoming a lost art that should still be taught and practiced. A generation of kids who can't even legibly print their own name is pathetic. Its really that difficult?

    After drive number 4 crapped out in a month I realized it wasn't worth $7 to send the bad one back in exchange for a "new" bad drive. Still on my 3 year warranty from Nov of 2000. Drive number 3 was even a sealed retail kit which tested bad out of the box. I always run diags on new drives because they can't be trusted anymore.

    What drive did you use in your Apex? Mine has issues with certain dvds. They either skip or have a ton of artifacts until you open/close the drive a few times. I'd love to upgrade it.

    Try passing a bike on a windy road or near a hill. Can't go 100 feet in western PA without seeing a hill or curved road. I just worry about passing some guy on his bike and him falling off and suing me.

    Tesla won the patent for radio because his plans included both a transmitter and receiver, while Marconi only had a transmitter. Transmit all you want but its worthless without a way to capture the transmissions.

    Theres a ton of companies sitting on class A blocks and doing nothing with them. Anything from 4.0.0.0 and up is hardly used. Redistribute these as a temporary solution until IPv6 is mainstream.

    If you really can't wait until then buy a cheap Alpha from ebay. I have a PC164 box that was built in 1997 and was true 64 bit back then. It has two ISA, two PCI, and two 64 bit PCI slots. 8 simm sockets so you can interleave the two banks of memory for double the throughput. Built in IDE controllers that don't have any issues with seeing 80Gb drives (most pII boards can't). A shame it never caught on. It runs NetBSD and happily routes packets for my firewall.

    With an MSDN subscription you can get copies of 64 bit XP. Their download page even lists 64 bit patches and service packs, what are you talking about? Intel already sells I2 servers and desktops. Its totally AMD's issue.
