  1. Only the talk channels have advertising. Even with their ads its barely five minutes an hour. Stern's last year on terrestrial radio was 19 minutes an hour of commercials.

The media is doing its usual job of scaring the low intelligence crowd with headlines like "untraceable" and "undetectable" guns will kill you at any moment. You get rid of the serial numbers on any gun and scratch up the firing pin and its also untraceable.

Not really. Uncle Sam doesn't like to lose a fight and will resort to dirty tactics. This isn't even a second amendment issue this is a freedom of speech issue. All he did was distribute a file containing 3d models of parts. And yes it is perfectly legal to manufacture a firearm for personal use as long as it follows guidelines like barrel length and ammo capacity.

  7. You sound like a totally sane and rational individual. I can't understand why anyone would be uncomfortable in having a conversation with you. Please seek mental help before you harm anyone.

This is the neck beard in you talking. Let me lay this out from a normal persons perspective. You can disagree or complain about her policies, but try to present your statements in a civilized adult manner. If you start off as a screaming lunatic of course she isn't going to listen to you. I'm guessing the majority of messages she received was the typical internet outrage and death threats.

This is what the GP was talking about. Linux gained momentum for some reason while the technically superior BSD was treated as the bastard cousin. For years BSD was faster and had a better IP stack. Hell Linux programs benchmarked better running under emulation on FreeBSD. I'd argue that the smelly hippy RMS was equally important because the kernel is worthless without a userland.

Neck beards are crying discrimination because projects are adopting codes of conduct. Since they can't read human behavior and social queues these documents were drafted to shield the group from lawsuits. They think Linus was baited into something inappropriate and being blackmailed. As to why they think this, who the hell knows. Possibly Bill Gates was getting bored of his philanthropic endeavors and donned a Scooby Doo disguise and joined the Linux kernel mailing list.

Look we're all into some nerdy shit around here but meeting some of these people in real life makes me (a man nearing middle age) uncomfortable. I can only imagine how fast women run away.
