Server In A Fly

· Score: 1
I'm a pretty funny guy, no I take that back, a REALLY funny guy, but other than the obvious "waiter there's a server in my fly," I just can't think of any good ones.
Of course it is 5:30 in the morning and I haven't slept in two days.
Yo, I feel ya, butter up some pixies and keep da framerizates hizigh... Keep it real, an we be rollin in the rova sittin' on dubs! Damn, fool, foget dubs, Jordans!
Here's my regular sources of info, not including the twenty or so blogs i read everyday....
By the way, let me take this oppurtunity to sing the praises of RSS, an XML schema, that allows for new aggragtors such as NetNewsWire for OSX to collect and read blog, new sites, etc... from one app... Wonderful stuff.... If your websites aren't outputting it, they should be!

It is your duty as an American to carry around a satalite phone in a backpack, ala Zach Morris from Saved By The Bell. Who do you turn to for such a beast? Iridium of course. After eleven rounds of refinancing, they are back in full force, with even bigger phones and more ridiculous rates. Anthrax scare in L.A.? Call your family in San Diego and let them know you're alright, or at least not dead, for the low, low, comforting price of $24.99 per minute.
Here is what I want in a PDA/Phone, I would pay just about anything for this phone.
Let's start with what I DON'T want becuase they add weight, power usage, cost, and size. I have a Canon Powershot s230 and an iPod, keep that in mind.
1. Color screen, i don't need it, i don't want it.
2. Digital camera, good lord, no.
3. Mp3 player, not yet, someday maybe.
4. Games, if i want them i'll download them, don't sell them to me as a "feature", see OS requirments below...
Now what I DO want!!!
1. A standards based operating system that uses industry standards for storing, accessing, and syncing phone numbers, to-do lists, addresses, notes, and files.... I also want an SDK to be able right my own apps
2. Bluetooth, i think this is a cool technology with real benefits, not just hype. Using my phone as a modem while i'm on the train for my TiBook would be cool.
3. A Palm-Pilot sized hi-res OLED screen, it doesn't have to be color, just hi-res and bright.
4. Form factor should be that of a flip phone, I think the Handspring is a very small step in the right direction, but it still feels horriblly cheap and is still about 20% larger that i would like. The bezels still seem way to big and bulky...
5. Battery life should kick ass.
6. I want it to sync and interact PERFECTLY with my OSX TiBook via BlueTooth, although this is mainly Apple's responsibility...
7. Some sort of advanced security.... Any ideas?
8. Make it compatible with as many networks as possible...
Somebody make this phone and I will pay $500 for it today.
I can always dream.....
Please... Come back.... argggg.... to me later..... serious Cherry Icee... eeeeeeeeek... brainfreeze right now..... wouldn't..... want to mess up.... the results....
They declared bankrupcy after a huge loss in a class-action asbestos lawsuit. Then they went on to simply not pay many small design firms they owed money to. Pretty much puta few of them out of business. It was right around Christmas time too.
Anyone think they'll pay these firms pay after plastic pop cans become all the rage? Yeah, me neither...
You know for being a virus, I'd think the authors would want to give it a cool name, like Infectita or Shadowbyte, I dunno SOMETHING cool. Instead, it's Klez, which sounds like a freeware puzzle game that sucks ass but has a lot of bright colors.
Just a heads up to all the peps out there it holdin' down. If you buy the special edition super ultra limited DVD box (with the bookend thingies), enclosed is a free pass to see TTT in the theaters, or theatres depending on your pondsidage.
Yes, they have problems, yes, they should open things up a bit more (Quicktime), and yes they should use their legal hounds much less, but can you name another computer company with this kind of sense of humor? I can't imagine, Dell, Microsloth, Gateway, or IBM putting these kind of ads online... They are not really business related (he doesn't talk about Apple products that much..), they are just fun little spoofs on the Switch ad campaign.
Bravo Apple, now just send those lawyers up to the North Pole...

Don't blow it, or somebody might make up a comical poster about the chances of you losing your virginity and put it on their wall.

If my code is buggy, will the data corrupting bug fix it? Kind of one of those reverse deals, like "I don't not hate you!"
