I'd like to thank everyone else's congressmen (and congresswomen) for not passing my congressman's bill. I try to vote him out of office every two years, but I always fail.
Rather than "how their girl will look on the beach", I really thought it was more of "I don't want by SO to get in the way of my spring break fling(s)."
If you were taught to use the two spaces, you're likely to always use that.
I disagree. Also typing since mid 80s. Switched over to 1 space in the late 90s. Only took about a week to get used to it.
On the other argument, I prefer to tab and let the IDE figure it out, but by mutual agreement I'm replacing my tabs with 3 spaces.
In both cases, what you're saying will tend to cause the opposite to happen.
It isn't confused, but it is confusing. I should have picked an analogy without a negative.
"technical training or two-year schools, which have been embraced in Europe for decades."
Telling Americans to do something because Europe's been doing it is a lot like telling a 5-year-old not to go near the cookie jar.
The aliens will have Intel machines in Independence Day 2. Luckily, Jeff Goldblum will have a new MacBook Air, so he'll still be able to save us.
Not a major disaster, just a global war between three groups of athiests.
Correction, you used to be able to. Now to get any of it to actually work you have to pay $3 a month.
Not true. The simple Facebook/Twitter stuff works just fine. Ok, worked just fine until the Google+ update yesterday that broke it.
"I'm sorry, but I don't recall my passphrase. I guess the stress of this case has made me forget it!"
Wow! That actually is my passphrase.
Too much prior art.
The catch is that Righthaven and Stevens Media have now amended their contract. So expect new lawsuits, possibly against some existing defendants.
I saw nothing in TFA to indicate that bicycles would be immune from the tax.

running the same searches over at Bing has_never_gotten me as relevant results.
Obviously you're not running these Google searches in Internet Explorer with the Bing toolbar installed.
I'd mod you up for getting a nice Heinlein first post, but you've gone and reversed his name (Valentine Michael Smith)
Why don't we have all traffic signals controlled by a person. Think of the jobs we will create!!!
Pretty sure that if all traffic signals are controlled by a person, we will have created 1 job.

Was at Oxford, so wouldn't it be 1/100th of a second at a time?
Obligatory Snow Crash link.

I'm always surprised that with the number of dead Chicagoans that voted (still vote?), the actual phrase isn't:
Vote Early, Vote Often, Vote Late.
Oh sure, now his next post will be in ALL CAPS.
The first two things that came to mind were the Indiana DST changeover and the Australia study. Then I found this nice Wall Street Journal article that mentions both: http://online.wsj.com/article/NA_WSJ_PUB:SB120406767043794825.html
Daylight Savings has had numerous studies showing reduced electricity consumption.
Newer Daylight Savings studies often find either no appreciable reduction or even an increase.

This shouldn't be a problem for US customers. Anyone breaking the encryption can be found guilty via DMCA, right?
Standard IANAL line.

Going to have to carrying actual cards again.
