Hell bring it on. I opened my own shop about 4 months ago and can clean most anything off a machine. Its 95% of my buisness so far and im tired of being poor. This week alone Ive cleaned 8 xp home boxes all still sp1 with no antispy or antivirus still running. Only one of the machines needed parts. It had a winlogon popup running that killed windows update and automatic update (senslogn key was missing). I think the real proplem with the current state of affairs is not that the exploits are produced and released but that microsoft builds to fast and to often. They need to can vista and put more R&D into fast fixes. If they want discreet disclosure of exploits they should offer $$ for it. Just tell them and get a check:)..... nah never happen they will just build the new big security hole called a OS.
Short term gain clouds their minds young jedi fear not. If the standard of living increases enough throughout the world they won't settle for it either. Or we will be so 'pore' we won't mind:P
Microsoft might optimize for amd? Many AMD boxen Ive worked on always seeemed to have problems in windows that a intel box didn't. Not so much on XP except for gameplay. I don't blame amd's processors and chipsets I blame microsoft. A couple of... Sometime back you had to turn a amd down to install windows, install a patch and turn your processor back up. I didn't blame AMD im sure without numerous bugfixs by microsoft intel boxes would have problems with windows. Offtopic my other main gripe with is that they will not sell the old OS on the cheap. They are missing out on big bucks by not dumping their old OS to the general public 6 months to a year before the new Fat Cow aka longhorn comes out. Sorry for the rant but I reloaded 9 boxes today 9 spyware 8 XP home no service packs 1 repeat offender with XP home sp2 microsoft antispy and avg free think they get the big host file this time;)
i know its done wonders for people but that bacteria contains human genes. So does this mean that its no longer convered under a patent or do they get to decide based on who filed the patent?

atheist don't belive in god due to fact that there is no proof whatsoever that there is a god or higher being. Post his address or cell phone number and if he can prove himself by performing a small miricle such as....bringing back 8 track tapes to the mainstream then maybe ill give it a try of course that isn't a small miricle.
yes well I can't find a link right now but there was a study done on a tribe in africa (I think) where for several generations there were fewer than 5 male lines in this tribe with no outside infusion of genetic material. All of these people suffered from severe physical genetic problems. Its called inbreeding and there is no way so few could have repopulated the species. no noah no genesis just simple random breeding resulted in us. Not to hard to belive with scientist doing their job and constantly lowering the number of chromsomes we need to procrate.

Yes I am also an atheist living in the bible belt. People around here belive in the king james version of the bible. They will tell you it is the origanal bible. When asked why its called a version they have a slew of answers. When asked why they condone rape,murder,incest etc etc they will tell you "oh thats the old testement its just a guide" when you bring up scriptures from the new testement that tell you that you HAVE to belive in all the old testement they usually get mad at you and toss the old the devil may quote thing at which time I inform them that in order to belive in the devil you have to belive in god first. Most people avoid such conversations with me now not liking their simple faith called fairy tales. I agree with you completely as long as young children are told that science doesn't have all the answers (which is true)but the bible does we will always have to put up with their attempts to destroy and discredit science. You stole my thunder I reload lots of computers where the people tried to use the restore disk and couldn't update it fast enough. Of couse these same people are more willing to pay me 75 bucks every 6 months or so to reload their computer than they are about buying a 50 buck router to enable them to do it themselves
Well i was against the attack in iraq but I like the idea of that asswipe sitting in jail. You have noticed that libya is trying real hard to just get along. thats what they need to know acting like a thug won't get you anywhere that our job.
