    And yes diameter is exactly how you would measure it until you got a high enough resolution image to atually see the shape.

    For everyone other than you the comparison was between a "PopcornHour Network Media Tank" and an HDTV; and a PC and an HDTV.

    The PC advantages were playing games and visiting arbitrary web pages, which the wii seems to do reasonably well.

    Note the wii also doesn't play "PC games", why you are hanged up on "indie" I have no idea. I figured "games" and "web" were the points not whether they were "indie" or not.

    But since "indie" is so important to you, please explain your definition of "indie" that doesn't include "2D Boy".

    And my wii doesn't have a hardware mod and can't play "backups" so I doubt Nintendo will be kicking down the door any time soon.

    Yes, because the wii being a "video game console" doesn't have any games on it other than those on the damn web browser.

    So how many versions do they have to wait before they can change the default?

    Are we seriously stuck with whatever the first UI we happened to slap together was?

    Yes I have trouble finding the action I want to apply in Word with that damn ribbon, but that's because I'm in infrequent user who used Word more often previously. If you use the program enough to value your "hard-earned knowledge" then how long can it possibly take to learn the new layout?

    If someone then tried to sell the car claiming the odometer had not been modified there would be a problem.

    Just as their would be if someone tried to sell an modded XBOX and claimed it hadn't been modified.

    But if the modification is disclosed why would I care?

    Yes it's illegal under the DMCA and hence not surprising, that doesn't mean people aren't "disturbed" when unjust laws are enforced.

    I'd be disturbed if someone was sent to jail for three months because they cheated on their wife in New York even though that's what the law says.

    The point is it is easier to fix PvE than PvP. Especially if the monsters are effectively just like players, which is reasonably likely in a space ship combat style games.
