    I have used stumble upon for years and I don't think I see much advertising. I have ad block on so is that it? I also block the websites of stuff that really Im really not interested in stumbling to with the thumb down menu?

    Propylene glycol is the main ingerdient in fog machines. I hope you never go to concerts. A lot of people use vegetable glycerine. A common ingredient in food. Ethylene glycol is not used. It is anti freeze. It would kill you. A lot of people mix their own fluid too with stuff from a pharmacy but that is more about price and taste. It is so simple.

    Bios passwords reset if you short out pins on the mobo. That is what he was trying to say. Physical access means your are screwed even if you encrypt since a keylogger could be installed. Or near by access where they can pull the key strokes from the air.

    The civil defense ones were designed for functioning around a nuclear explosion their deadband is massive. You are basically looking for hot spots to avoid when the area is coated with radiation. Plus that is surplus price which is a fraction of their real cost. Everything else you said is extremely valid. Although I wonder if they reported >100 mSv/hr which is what could happen in the initial report when the meter saturates and the reporter dropped the symbol. Now they have taken an accurate measurement and it got reported.

    Vaccines are not 100% effective. Think about it. You can get chicken pox twice. Its just not as likely the second time. You are still at risk when vaccinated and that risk increases when the people around you get infected.

    You have to remember that a test measures several levels of knowledge by having a range of easy to hard questions. A properly performed test on a random population should result in a normal distribution around a defined average. That average is solely based on the test so it has no bearing on the actual intelligence of the population. The test is more sorting the population then comparing it to a standard.

    I have found that who ever designed DNLA was a complete idiot. Some people prefer having the option of smb,nfs,afp. Plus decoding options. Having to reencode a bunch of video files just sucks. Of course its all about the right device for the right situation or person.

    Agreed. There are a ton of options with any dev board if you research it a bit. HDMI has kind of become the standard output of these devices.

    Yes but will it be almost undetectedable by normal spectrum analysis? There was some serious radio technology in there. RTFA its worth it. This was a serious piece of equipment before the fire.

    The sponge margin is actually 10000%. I know it doesn't matter, but it bugs me when people confuse how to calculate percentages. The military has a lot of these issues too and its on a single payer system. I thought it was an interesting realization. And with number 5 knife jockeys are always knife jockeys. Its like that everywhere.

    That is absolutely false. In Canada there are medical expenses the individual still pays for. It is just the majority of the costs are covered. Drugs, optometry, dentistry, othodontics are not covered except for certain cases, most people still have medical insurance to cover those costs. The point is that when I am dieing in a car accident. The question of how much it costs to save my life should not come up. And people complain about wait times, but the onlytime I have heeard of people being refused immidiate treatment while they are dieing is in the States.

    Technically my router is a server since I have the router management site open on the WAN side and it has dyndns running. My ISP sold me the router and the firmware is unaltered. The terms of service language is absolutely vague. This isn't just about just WWW servers.

    I don't think he is outside the realm of reasonable speculation. Sony had their psn servers compromised and had credit card data ripped off. The connections inbetween were complete secure, but the data still got stolen. It also wasn't a rogue employee either. Data protection laws really need to be tightened up and enforced with auditing. A lot of the stuff is almost as good as cash and should be treated as such.

    Physically access means all bet are off. You could just use a keylogger. Two factor is really the best situation, still has issues, and thats not reasonable for a lot of websites to afford.

    So this peaked my interest in putting together one of the new pineapples. The router they use is here; http://www.data-alliance.net/servlet/-strse-642/Alfa-AP121U-802.11n-AP-fdsh-Router/Detail. About $46. Although anything with a Atheros AR9331 I think would work. You also have to have a JTAG for it.

    Why wouldn't you proof all copies before distributing them. The print head could have failed and cut off important text. Its a pain but it mitigates liability.

    I have met Darren. He is a pretty decent guy. The hardware isn't what people care about. Its the software package it comes with. You can basically mitm wifi cards. Its based off of Jasager so anyone can do it. He did a show about setting one up. Its just lazy people buying the whole kit and he probably sold out cause he was selling them at a discount. This isn't news in any regards though. These have been around for years. Last time I saw one it was white. Hak5 finally getting a wikipedia page that would be news.

    In a free market economics the consumer base as a whole dictates the price. How each customer reaches his or her price is extremely complicated. The margin is set off of this and products that can't produce a margin simply won't exist. The whole situation is a the fault of the Aussies being willing to spend more on software. They should simply stop buying software when they don't like the price. Of course this is assuming a free market.

    The video is pretty poorly done. The editing will make people think they are trying to mislead people. It’s pretty amazing considering how light the robot must be. I was left wondering how it knew the obstacle it was attacking. It didn't have any cameras I could see. They probably had to set it up for each maneuver. It would have been neat to see a sequence of maneuvers performed.

    I am saying that the product page(the international one I can see) lists no specs. There is no idication of a power wire until the last foot note. Which caused a lot of confusion(misleading not fraud). You aren't able to get a lot of decoding power for $35 unless Google is selling these under cost. I can't vote democrate. I'm not American. It isn't crap I'm just saying it probably won't live up to the expectations of playing everything you love.
