  1. Propaganda, Lies and Bullshit on Invasion of Ukraine Continues As Russia Begins Nuclear Weapons Sabre Rattling · · Score: -1, Troll

The US media is now in full ass-clown mode.

Russia has invaded nothing. Sat photos? I thought so:

Apparently all those T-90 tanks only fly in by night and their cloaking devices prevent any picture of them appearing anywhere.

    http://www.moonofalabama.org/2014/09/ukraine-war-for-now-over-and-nato-still-in-decline.html

The nuke bullshit comes from a collapsing Oligarch, who's hold on "NATO intervention" as a tactic becomes weaker by the minute, and thus his desperate squawking. Poor little Joe Biden's son will have to make his next millions by backing another corrupt scheme, elsewhere on the globe.

Get this straight: Russia has not provided any lethal support for breakaway regions in the Ukraine civil war.

Ukraine is not a historical entity prior to Imperial manoeuvrings in the late 19th century between Austria, Prussia and Russia. Now it is being used as the same, 150 years later, to hobble Russian gas export and contain the European pivot away from the dollar and American hegemony.

C'mon. Victoria Neuland, dummy. Appointed under Hillary. You don't think of Hillary as a "neo-con" - but there she is! Appointing the Wife of Robert Kagan and former foreign policy advisor of... Dick Cheney! To the role of Assistant Secretary of State for European Affairs.

Or you don't remember her little phone call? "Fuck the EU!"

Neo-con rim job. You don't see it, because the distortion field that Cheney described is in full-effect. You believe that an evil, Russian potentate wants to slowly steal your freedoms - not that a gang of pirates took over the former Russian state of Ukraine - using actual NAZIS to do it.

The aide said that guys like me were "in what we call the reality-based community," which he defined as people who "believe that solutions emerge from your judicious study of discernible reality." ... "That's not the way the world really works anymore," he continued. "We're an empire now, and when we act, we create our own reality. And while you're studying that reality—judiciously, as you will—we'll act again, creating other new realities, which you can study too, and that's how things will sort out. We're history's actorsand you, all of you, will be left to just study what we do.

The original capital of the Rus, in the foundation of the state around 100 AD, was Kiev. No entity "Ukraine" existed. I figure even IF the Russians were agressive, they have a better claim on that land than the so-called Hebrews do on Palestine.

This also from an interview Merkel gave to public German TV yesterday:

A solution must be found to the Ukraine crisis that does not hurt Russia and which the Ukrainian people must choose for themselves, German Chancellor Angela Merkel said on Sunday.
    ...
"There must be dialogue. There can only be a political solution. There won't be a military solution to this conflict," she said.
    ...
On Saturday, her vice chancellor Sigmar Gabriel had suggested that establishing a federal Ukraine was the only viable solution to the crisis pitting Kiev against pro-Russian separatists.

Merkel said that if Ukraine opted to rejoin the Eurasian Union with Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia, then Europe would not make "a huge conflict" out of it.

Especially the last point is clearly a big step back from the earlier all out "Ukraine is EU" position.

Additionally to the economic side, pressure on Merkel also grows because there is more and more doubt, even in German mainstream media, about the veracity of the Ukrainian propaganda and about the destruction of flight MH17. Why is there is no news about it? Is there a coverup (in German)?

    Thought so.

Donatella Rovera is a disinformation source, and well-known war propagandist, using the language and guise of Human Rights to justify military campaigns that target civilians and "regime change" as well as other International war crimes.

Several AI chapters connected with universities in the U.S. have been taken over by groups with their own agenda. Their interest is to block criticism of certain countries, and to create a false impression that AI favors their position. There have been instances where manipulators sent "news releases" using AI letterhead (of the local group) to push their agenda. On Oct. 2002, AI-London stated that it is not their business to censor these groups (statement by Donatella Rovera when she was asked about this).

In July 2, 2004, AI called for the suspension of weapons sales to
Sudan. On February 16, 2005 it called for a suspension of weapons
sales to Nepal. However, although AI has shown that while it is
willing to issue such calls regarding several countries, it is not
willing to request an embargo of weapons sales to Israel. Donatella
Rovera, the chief researcher on Israel-Palestine offered the following
    explanation:

“The situations in Sudan and in Israel-Occupied Territories are
quite different and different norms of international law apply, which
do not make it possible to call for an arms embargos on either the
Israeli or the Palestinian side. The West Bank and Gaza Strip are
under Israeli military occupation (not the case for the Darfour region
in Sudan). Hence, certain provisions of international humanitarian
law, known as the laws of war (notably the 1907 Hague Convention and
the Fourth Geneva Convention) apply in the Occupied Palestinian
Territories (and not in the Darfour region).” (email
    communication July 5, 2004).

AI is couching its double standards in dubious legalese, but consider
what Prof. Francis Boyle (Professor of International Law at Univ. of
Illinois Champaign) has to say about Rovera's statement:

This is total gibberish. When I was on the Board of Directors of
Amnesty International USA near the end of my second term in 1990-92,
we received the authority to call for an arms embargo against major
human rights violators, which Israel clearly qualified for at the time
and still does—even under United States domestic law. Of course
no one at AI was going to do so because pro-Israel supporters were
major funders of Amnesty International USA, which in turn was a major
funder of Amnesty International in London. He who pays the piper calls
the tune—especially at AIUSA Headquarters in New York and at AI
    Headquarters in London.[4]

Amnesty was hijacked by interests of the US Dept of State, and NATO governance, using grassroots efforts of its original vision to pervert the intention behind the organization's original foundation:

UNAC urges antiwar and community activists across the U.S. to condemn a sharp change in the direction and character of the campaigns of Amnesty International USA, especially since the hiring in January, 2012 of Suzanne Nossel as Executive Director. Nossel is a former State Department official and aide to former UN Ambassador Richard Holbrook. She coined the term “Smart Power,” w
